Chapter 182 Truth. 

Mia POV 

After a good nap, and a second breakfast, I was ready to face the world, Hydra called and gave us the go–ahead, we are to go to Captain Brooklyn station, and meet with my sister and then we get to meet with Ronan but only for a very limited time, and even then we had to have people with us there the whole time. 

“Let’s go!” I say, yelling at my mate. 

“Don’t yell, we’re going, do you need to pee?” he asks me. 

“I’m not a child,” I assure him. 

“Nope, you’re pregnant,” he says with a shrug, and I got in the car with my mate, he turned it on, and started to drive forward, that’s when my bladder decided it’s best time to go.

“Stop, stop,” I say in an urgent voice. 

“What is it?” he asks me, stopping the car right away. 

“I need to pee, I need to pee,” I say, feeling the urge to cry. 

“Don’t cry, you can go,” he says calming me down. 

I ran back inside to the nearest bathroom, the pack learned to get out of my way when I’m running toward the bathroom, they don’t stop me anymore, and they don’t dare go in first, it’s always me first.

After I finished, I went back out into the car, he gave the I told you so look, but I gave him one glare and he decided to shut up and not say anything, good for him, if he knows what’s good for him, he’d keep quiet. 

He drove us to the station and I had to pee again, I thought you don’t feel this urge to pee so much until you’re in your late pregnancy months, but here I am, so special with a tiny bladder.

We saw Ezra and he guided us to Captain Brooklyn’s office, she had such a firm look on her face, she was all serious, but when she saw me, she broke into a little smile. 

“How’s the pregnancy going?” she asks me. 

“I’m already going a million time to the bathroom, I don’t know if I’ll be able to survive the months to come, “I say making her smile. 

“After Whitney, I swore not to get pregnant ever again, but she’s whining for a sibling and I’m starting to have the baby fever,” she says making me giggle. 

“The fever is real, how do you think I managed to get him to get me pregnant,” I say making her smile some more, and my mate to turn red. 

“You’re sister is on her way here,” she says and then in came Noelle, dressed in new clean clothes, her wounds were attended to and mostly healed. 

“Why is she still injured?” I ask, she should heal by now. 

“Trying to shift with three broken ribs, a broken ankle, torn ligaments, sprained shoulder, and a couple extra injuries here and there, she’s

“I’m okay, Mimi, you don’t have to worry,” she assures me, but I was worried still. 

“Take a seat girls, Lieutenant,” she says, ordering all of us to sit the hell down. 

We all took a seat and shared some small conversations together, Noelle was assuring me that she’s fine, she’s okay here, she even said that she liked it here. I knew she was lying for my own good, and I decided to believe her, she’s okay, I could see that they’re treating her well, next is to meet with Ronan. 

“I’m gonna be there with you girls,” she says, getting up and leading the way, we took an elevator and went three floors underground. It was dark, wet and miserable, exactly what he deserved, the captain kept on walking under the artificial lights until we reached a metal door cell. 

It was opened via a code, inside was Ronan, shackled to the wall, unable to move or hurt anyone, all three of us stood in front of him. 

“Why are you here?” he asks us. 

“You kept asking for us, you said you want what’s yours back, here we are,” I say in a cold voice. 

“It’s not you bitch, who I want,” he says 

“You sent your pack to ours, you attacked us, and you killed IACOB! What do you mean,” Noelle yells at him angrily.

her freeze. 

“Captain, please escort my sister out,” I say in a very calm voice, and the Captain agrees, dragging her, practically carrying her out of the cell, leaving just me and the jerk. 

“What do you mean?” I ask him calmly. 

“Exactly what you heard,” he says. 

“She’s not yours, she can’t be yours, we have a father,” I say. 

“You have a father, but she has me,” he says. 

“It can’t be true,” I say, but I was starting to have my doubts. 

“You were there, you remember me coming over, your dad’s travel trips,” he says, and I do remember all of those. 

“What do you want from her then?” I say, worried about my sister still. 

“She’s mine, the only one I managed to conceive and you took her away,” he growls at me. 

“I didn’t take her away, she’s my sister, and you got nothing on her,” I say, matching his tone. 

“She’s mine Mia, you can lie to yourself as much as you want…but she’s mine, you can see me in her, just look into it,” he says and I walk away, refusing to believe any of this.
