“They arrested Noelle! They took my sister, we have to go and get her,” I begged my mate, he was called to the house to help and try calm me down.
I went insane when they took her, they only managed to calm me down when they said I could hurt my baby with all the anger, fear, and the insanity I’m going through. Noelle didn’t do anything wrong, she was protecting herself and protecting me, Smith is insane, he would’ve killed half of us without a second thought, he almost killed my mate!
“She’s not arrested,” Levent says in a calm voice.
“What do you call it then?” I ask him.
“I call it, she’s over with Brooklyn, she’s in good hands, we have her word that she won’t hurt her, she wasn’t arrested baby, she walked out with her own will, head held high,” he says trying to show me the positive side of things.
“What if she gets sentenced to prison? What then?” I say, challenging him.
“She’s not going to be sent to anywhere but back home, they attacked us, they hurt us and any judge would see that,” he says.
“I’m still worried,” I say the tears falling freely down my face now.
“How about tomorrow morning, I’ll take you to see Hydra,” he offers.

“Who’s that?” I say wiping my face clean.
“He’s the pack lawyer, remember how I told you we had to force Lotus into being changed to help her out?” he says, and I do remember that story, I heard it from both Lotus point of view and his, although hers sounded like a horror movie, his sounded like a worried father who’d do anything to keep his daughter safe.
“Yeah, I remember,” I say out loud.
“Tomorrow we’ll check with him, we’ll have all the legal words from his mouth,” he says and I nod, he convinced me to go to my room and rest, I was brought some calming tea that wouldn’t hurt the baby.
I managed to fall asleep my head laid on Levent’s chest, listening to his heartbeat, my heart and soul praying to my little sister, everyone assured me that Captain Brooklyn is one of the good people, she’s an honest captain who’s known for her integrity and honesty.
I woke up around six am, I shook Levent awake, we need to go and see Hydra, he woke up groggy and tired, he groaned and whined the whole way toward the bathroom, he forced me to eat something first before leaving the house by six thirty.
We went to Hydra’s home since he’s not in the office yet, we kept knocking on the door until he opened, dressed in his PJ, and a big frown on his face.
“It’s not even seven yet, I start work at nine,” he groans.
“You talk her into going back to sleep,” Levent groans as well, he had one look at me and welcomed us in his house.

“Alpha asked me to look into Noelle’s case, she’s not even in a cell she’s kept in a bedroom and having dinner with the Captain and the rest,” he starts and I finally managed to relax a bit.
“What about alpha Ronan?” I ask him next.
“He flew in here to watch the fight, now he’s in a damn dark cell under heavy security,” he says.
“I want to see him,” I say.
“No,” both men say at the same time.
“I want to see him!” I repeat myself.
“Why would you want to see that jerk!” my mate asks sounding offended.
“He started this whole war because of us, he said he wants what’s his back, and I want to know what the hell he meant by that, I want to stand in front of him and tell him to fuck off,” I say explaining to Levent why.
“Well a judge sentencing him to death row would do that,” Hydra
comments.
“What he said, I’ll even take you to watch,” Levent says.
“No, he knows me as the weak wolf who’d bow her head and keep it low, he should know who he’s messing with now,” I say, refusing to step back.
“Mia, you’re a very strong wolf no one would doubt that,” Levent says.

“I want to see him, can you make it happen or not?” I say, asking Hydra, ignoring my mate last sentence.
“I’ll have to take the alpha’s permission but if he says yes, then I can.” Hydra says.
“Then ask him and let me know,” I say, looking back at my mate ready to go back home.
“If you’re going. I’m going to,” Levent says.
“How about you go there with me, but you let me do this alone,” I say.
“Mia, you’re pregnant,” he says, worried that cause of my pregnancy, I can’t do this.
“I know Levent, but I need to do this, for me, for our unborn son,” I say petting my rounded stomach.
“But Captain Brooklyn will be there with you, she’ll keep an eye on you and you’ll do everything she says,” he says, so he trusts her, and after what Hydra told me, I trust her too, we can do this.
“Fine, deal,” I say.
“I’ll check with the alpha and get back to you, but right now, I’m going back to bed,” Hydra the Lawyer says getting up and leaving us in his living room, I looked at Levent and then we both broke into laughter, that was kind of funny.
“How about we too go back to bed?” Levent suggest.
“Only if I get more of that tea,” I say, needing the help to fall back to sleep.
