“Flower, I need you in private,” my mate calls me, I saw Mariano walking in, speaking gibberish, Nutmeg followed him to try and get him to calm down.
“Okay,” I say following him to our bedroom, he closed the door and hugged me, what the hell happened outside why is he acting like this.
“Who died?“I ask him as a first impression.
“No one, I’m just happy you’re safe,” he says, breathing me in.
“I’m not going anywhere,” I assure him.
“Good, because I don’t want you to go anywhere,” he says and I hugged him back, kissing his chest, neck, cheeks, and lips.
“I got to tell you something,” I say.
“Okay, tell me,” she answers me.
“Captain Brooklyn decided to send some of her people over, they’re going to stay around the pack land and be here in case of next future attacks,” I say, explaining to her why they’re here.
“How long are they going to stay?” she asks me and
ve no idea.
“Until they could help us figure it all out,” I answer her, since I had no real idea how things are going or why they’re here.

“Okay,” she says with a shrug, we joined the pack for dinner, and the peace maker people came in as well asking for food, or a place to get food from.
“Come in, we have extra food,” The Luna says, allowing them all in, and we gave them a spot to sit with us and have some of our food.
They were quiet at first just talking to each other, and avoiding eye looks with us, but after dinner, when everyone got up to put their plate and what’s left away, they started to make small talks.
“So who’s the one with the cool hair style?” one of Ezra’s man says, looking at Nutmeg’s split hair.
“I’m Mariano’s mate, also known as the Luna,” Nutmeg answers him, with a glare, she wasn’t happy about their presence at all.
“Sorry Luna,” he says lifting both hands up, but then he adds, “But really cool hair though,” he says again, and that made her smile, just a slight smile, which made Mariano growls.
“And you,” he says, turning to my mate, and I glared at him, but she didn’t look at me or see my glare.
“Luna Lotus,” she says with a smile, very proud of her title.
“Oh god, look Mateo, we’re here with three Lunas, how lucky are we,” Ezra says looking at my mate.
“Three damn hot Lunas,” this Mateo guy comments ‘ooking at all the three of the girls.
“They’re mated, all of them,” I say, holding my baby and pulling her

“When this is over, I’m going to kill you,” Mariano says in a growl.
The girls decided to yet again ignore us, and ignore our threats to the stranger wolves, once they all left, we all went to bed, we had patrol running, and had those guys, but we decided that one of us should be out there at all time, just to make sure it’s all safe.
I had the first shift which meant I didn’t get time to tell Lotus not to dare smile in their faces or be nice to them, she should frown and growl every time she sees them, I’ll tell her so tomorrow morning.
As we run the patrol, I could tell there’s somebody out there, I could swear I could see shadows, I could hear them, but they weren’t on our lands so we couldn’t do anything about them, unless if they got just close enough to give us enough of cause to kill them all.
The night was very long, every nerve in me was on fire, I would turn to every sound to every movement, I couldn’t hold back, we were in danger, and these peace makers that were along with us only added to my nerves instead of making me feel more at ease.
By the time we went back to the main house, I was ready to pass out, I was ready to die even, I had enough of running for one night, being an alpha means I don’t run patrols anymore, but when there’s a need, I will run and do anything else to keep my family safe.
I walked into the house wanting to sleep, but first I need to check on my mate, I need to find her, and make sure she’s okay and knows she’s loved before I get to bed.
I found her in the kitchen, sitting in one of the island seats, looking at

Ezra cooking, he was making one of her favourite breakfasts, pancakes. They were chatting happily, him telling her about his job, and her telling him about our own home.
“Hey, Uncle,” she says when she saw me.
“Uncle?” Ezra says turning to us.
“It’s a long story,” I groan, not in the mood to explain, she still calls me Uncle every now and then just to mess with me.
“And it’s gonna cost you more than just pancakes,” My mate says, she was smiling happily, and I was too tired, when I wake up, I’m kicking Ezra’s ass.
