“Give me details,” Beta says as soon as she walks in she was in full beta mode, she was very alert, looking at the trees as well, she came alone, but I knew she had people all over the forest outside.
“I went out for a run, I caught a smell, thought it was a stray, was going to chase them out, but the smell was strong and they were trying to hide themselves from me,” I say, it wasn’t just a random stray, it was someone who walked in with a purpose.
“I got people out there looking, the patrol had caught a whiff of the smell, very faint,” she answers us, her eyes then landed over Mia, she walked toward her and offered a hug, Mia hugged her tight, holding on to her for dear life.
“Where’s Noelle?” Mia asks.
“Outside, keeping her family and pack safe,” Emmalynn answers her, we were all too proud of Noelle for standing up for us, and being such a strong wolf, but Mia was controlled by her emotions right now, and she’s worried to death for her little sister.
“Don’t cry, don’t cry,” Beta says and hugs her again, petting her back, calming her down,

their little talk while I watched from the window, and then I saw it, it was so quick, a shadow moving.
Without a second thought, I ran outside, I knew the Beta wouldn’t leave my mate alone, and she’ll protect her to death, but the shadow moving was mine. I didn’t give them a chance to react, I ran out, shifting to my wolf side on the way, I went toward the shadow, guessing their next move and timing it perfectly, I jumped on top of them while they were trying to trick me and get away, they’d point right, and run left, which was expected. I’m working with the best student the academy has ever had in the whole years of my training and teaching.
The person underneath me was trying to get up, to hit me, to try and hurt me, but I didn’t care, I kept on holding them down, I knew that some of the pack members were around, and they’ll be here to help me soon, but first I need to make sure that the spy who’s trying to sneak peaks into my mate is getting what he deserves.
The rest of the pack, joined us, now that I had back up, I got off the wolf, so we could get him to a secure spot, they took advantage of me getting off them and tried to attack me, but joke on them, I’m the one who trains others and I do a lot of workout of my own, and I’d love to take a bite out of it.

“I’ll have a chat with them alpha,” I beg the alpha before I went in, I wanna do the talking.
“Enjoy, don’t kill them before knowing why they’re here,” my alpha says leaving, he’ll be back to talk to them when I’m done with the spy.
I walked inside the small room, it’s in the basement of the alpha’s house, a safe place with a metal door that’ll only open from the outside. I got in and heard the door being locked behind me, when we’re done they’ll open it.
“Change back,” I tell the wolf who’s standing with their back to the wall.
“Come on, change back or I’ll beat you until you pass out and change back on your own,” I warn them, I wish they didn’t change back, just so I’d get a chance to beat them up.
