Chapter 162 Nightmare.
Lotus POV
We woke up to a scream, and it wasn’t mine, and it wasn’t a sexy scream either, it was a scream of fear, of pure terror, we got up and ran out of the room, but first, I took a step back and put on an oversized shirt, one of Damian’s shirt, and threw a pair of shorts at him.
Whoever is screaming in terror is going to be terrified when he sees the two of us naked, so we better put something on first, I don’t want anyone to see me naked either.
We found the room where the screams are coming from, it was Wolf’s room, and the one screaming is Mia, we knocked on the door just to make sure she knows we’re coming in, and then opened the door and walked right in.
“What’s wrong?” I say, when I don’t see anyone in the room, I have my doubts that wolf is kinky, but not the kind that would get Mia screaming in fear like this, especially when they’re not at home.
“It’s just a dream,” Wolf says holding her tight, we couldn’t see her face, we just saw her back, shaking with tears and she held on to Wolf’s chest.
“A dream?” Damian asks confused, I do have nightmares sometimes, but I’ll be dreaming of my mom, and I never scream this badly.
“Yes, a dream, sorry to wake you up,” Wolf says asking us in a nice way to get out of their room so they can stay alone.
We went back to our room, but something felt off with Mia, I looked at Damian who just shrugged, we sat back on our bed and cuddled, I laid my head over his chest and then couldn’t hold it in any longer, I asked
him.
“Hey, do you think Mia is going to be okay?” I ask him.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with her, but she got Levent with her,” he
assures me.
“But she’s terrified,” I say.
“I know, Flower, but she has her own past, and she has her own nightmares,” he says.
“What do you know about her?” I ask, I know just the parts that are known to the whole pack, that she was mated, and her mate was a jerk, she comes from a bad pack, her parents are dead, and that she joined Levent’s pack since it’s her mother’s old pack.
And that’s all I knew about her, so what kind of nightmares is she dreaming of? Was it her old mate? Her old pack? Or maybe losing her family, I wasn’t sure what was wrong with her, but all could happen, maybe tomorrow she’ll be able to talk to us and tell us what had her screaming in the middle of the night.
“Try to sleep sweetie, don’t think too much,” Damian says, kissing the top of my head.
“I feel worried about Mia,” I say, being a Luna means that it’s my job to worry about everyone, and that includes Mia, even if she’s not part of my pack, she’s my friend and part of my family.
I went to sleep at the end, I couldn’t stay awake for much longer, and

the sex helps me fall asleep every time, I can’t stay awake for long after it, I always just drop asleep, and don’t dream about a thing.
We woke up bright and early, meaning Damian shook me awake and told me to get up, I groaned and woke up with him, and went to the bathroom to wash my face with cold water hoping it’ll get me to wake
- up.
We cooked breakfast for Wolf, and Mia, and waited for them to join us, we set everything on the table, we ate in silence, while I kept looking at Mia, watching for something.
“I’m okay, Lotus,” Mia says.
“Are you sure, you were screaming last night,” I say, still looking at her.
“I had a nightmare,” she says and we all looked at her, waiting for her to tell us more about her nightmares, what got her so terrified.
“Guys, I’m okay,” she assures us again, but the looks were still locked on her.
“What do you want?” she says with a sigh.
“Tell us what got you so scared so we’d deal with it,” I say, speaking for all of us.
“I dreamt of my old alpha, and that’s all I’m going to say,” she says.
“That’s not enough of an explanation,” I say.
“I don’t wanna share,” she says.
“But we’re your family, Mia, and all we want is to be there for you, and
help you,” Damian says, and I nod agreeing with him.
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, we are a family, but I don’t wanna talk about those days and what happened,” she says, which means something bad has happened, which only made me angry.
After breakfast, they decided it’s time to leave to their home, and left us behind, I turned to Damian and asked him about her old pack, what were they like?
“Her old pack was made from just humans who turned into wolves, they have more of the human traits than the wolves ones, humans aren’t fit to be in charge, it’s the main reason wolves took over, years ago,” he says, explaining it to me, I didn’t meet many humans who had power in my lifetime, so I don’t really know what they were like, all my information came from documents I have watched back in my teenage
years.
