I swear on my parent’s graves that Levent was winning, I swear he was, I saw him getting the gun, he was the one holding the gun, he was damn winning and then the gun went off. I heard the noise of it, I knew it from back in the day when I was in the military, we had to shoot, and I hated it, I hated the noise of it, and I still do.
I looked around the room to see who was hit, it wasn’t the beta, nor the guys from the pack, it wasn’t me either, although I’m in so much pain, it wasn’t the pain of a gun wound, it wasn’t Rex who fell on the ground, no it was Levent, he fell on the ground holding his heart. His god damn heart, I felt more anger than I ever did, I felt rage, pure rage.
I shifted into my wolf form and attacked Rex, not giving a fuck about everyone else in the room, I went right toward his neck, I went for the kill, he hurt the one person I love other than my little sister, and I’m going to have his heart for it.
I bite his neck and I do it hard, I heard bones click and crash, but that wasn’t enough, I felt blood in my mouth but I kept on attacking him, pulling him limb by limb, treating him like the rag doll he always treats me like.
“Mia, Mia, he’s dead you gotta stop, Mia,” I heard Emmalynn say trying to pull me back avoiding my teeth, she tried to pull me off, but I wasn’t done with him yet.
“Mia, we need to save Levent, you need to come with us,” one of the guys says, getting my attention, I need to save levent, right, I’m doing this for him, I stopped and pulled back, going with Emmalynn in the way she’s pushing me in.
“Dear goddess, she cut him into shreds,” another guy says, looking at
what’s left of Rex, but all I cared about right now is Levent and saving
him
Levent POV
“Victoria,” I yell and run toward her, I hugged her tight, I held her and refused to let go, I got my Victoria back, my baby, my love, I missed you so fucking much, so much.
“Viki,” I say tears falling down my face, she hugged me back, she was petting my back, hugging me just as tight.
I breathed deeply, taking every scent of her, she smells like heaven, wait, was I in heaven, I stopped hugging her and looked down at her face, she had a giant smile on her face, she looked healthy unlike the last time I saw her, before she died, when she was in so much pain, when she wasn’t feeling her best.
“I’m dead?” I ask her, knowing that’s the only way we’d meet again is for me to die.
“Almost,” she says with a sad smile, she’s still holding on to me, but she’s giving me a chance to pull back and see her face.
“Almost? Where do I sign?” I ask her, making her giggle, I’m smiling too, I’m very happy here with her.
“You don’t sign anywhere, Levent, you need to make a decision,” she
says.
“What do you mean?” I ask her confused.
“You still have the chance to go back down, you don’t have to stay here with me,” she says breaking my heart, but losing her drove me to insanity and back, losing her had me feeling crazy, I can’t loose her, I want her to stay near me, I want to be with her always and forever

“I don’t wanna go back,” I say quickly, but she shook her head no at me, she was telling no, that this isn’t happening, that this isn’t going to be the thing, she’s giving me small hints.
“Victoria, didn’t you miss me?” I ask her, feeling my heart being broken yet over again, doesn’t she want me? She’s my mate, the goddess gave her to me, we almost had the best life ever, but ours was cut too short and she moved to heaven.
“I miss you, of course I do, Levent, that’s not a nice thing to ask,” she says, holding my hand and pulling me away, we were walking on a very familiar road, I knew this place, it was the park, where we went to feed the damn ducks.
Victoria was holding a popcorn bag all of a sudden and we were standing near the pond, throwing popcorn at the ducks, she had the same old giant smile she always does when we’re doing this, one of her favourite things to ever do.
