“Good, because that’s terrible way to think of it, I’m not like that,” I say, he doesn’t know me that well, and that girl trusts him, I don’t want to betray her trust.
“I know man, I know, what I meant is spend more time with her just to. keep an eye on her and maybe she’ll rub off some of her happiness on you,” he says.

“She was angry, that’s what I said, but we’re an awesome pack and she loves it here, but she has some left over rage left inside of her, hence why she’s with the patrol, they make the rage go away and leave the happiness behind,” he says explaining it to me, she’s so complex, she could manage more than one emotion at a time while I’m stuck with sadness.

“You’ll get back there, give it some time,” he assures me, and I just shrug.
“So other than her rubbing off on me, what do you expect me to tell her? Why am I hanging around?” I ask him, I don’t want to look like a perv around her.

“I see, then you’ll be holding a small training activity for any teenager around the pack who would love to sharpen their wolf skills,” he says with a big smile, meaning this would keep me busy, too busy to be so sad, and it’ll help Noelle and others.
“Fine, but it’s a short course,” I say, not willing to make this go for months or be a whole year around thing, I’m not going to become the army ambassador in the snow pack.
