“Go away. Emmalynn. I’m done.” I groan, kicking the beta out of my house.
“I’m not leaving, don’t even think about it,” she says.
“I don’t wanna hear it anymore,” I groaned.
“You don’t wanna hear it, but you need to know it, you’re going to shift back to your wolf form and let him free, when was the last time you shifted?” she asks me and I looked at her with a confused look.
“Uhhh…I don’t remember,” I say honestly, I don’t remember the last time I have changed or shifted, I came back to my human form when Lotus needed me and I’ve been human ever since.

packed some of Viki’s old clothes the one that still had her scent on them, I packed them in the bag.
“I need to talk to the…” I start meaning to say I need to apply for a change of assignment since I’m going home.
“I’ll talk to them, they’ll give you a leave until you’re ready to go back,” she says and I nod, finishing packing all of her stuff, Emmalynn took another bag and stuffed it with my own clothes, putting everything that seemed to be personal for me, once we were done she told me to take a shower and eat while she goes down and get her own stuff ready.
I did as she asked, I showered, I haven’t showered in three days and I stank, I don’t get how she was sitting so close to me and petting my back, she should’ve run away from me and not hug me or try to make me feel better.
I scrubbed my whole body up and down twice, and then I brushed my teeth and washed my face again to make sure it’s clean, I cleaned my ears and brushed my hair, I got dressed pretending to be okay, pretending that I’m fine.
I took my bags out of the house and went downstairs to wait for the beta, she joined me soon, we placed the bags in the back of her car and drove off toward home, she offered to buy me coffee or food, but I declined both, but she talked me into having a drink the drive is always better with a drink, and I agreed to it, so I got a drink and sipped on it slowly during the ride, every time she asked me a question, I’d be busy drinking, very, very slowly.
We made it home by dinner time, she parked the car and told me it’s time to let it all go, but I wasn’t ready, I excused myself and tried to go to my home, I own a home back in the pack land, but Emmalynn kept saying that I can’t go there, that I need to stay close to her, and not go home.
