“How about we catch a coffee, and then go feed the ducks?” I say with a sigh, there’s a small pond in the park where ducks likes to hang around and for some reason that’s one of Viki’s favourite spots, I wish I could take her back to my pack land, we have bigger ponds, more ducks for her to feed, but we need to stay here since Lotus is still in school.
“I’d love that,” she says with a big smile, I knew she’ll go for that option, she got dressed and we both got out of the house, we got in my car and I drove by the coffee shop for coffee and some bread for the ducks, and then we headed toward the park.
We walked in holding hands, smiling, these are the happiest moments in my life, I graduated school, I graduated the military academy, I turned into a wolf, I became an uncle, I earned my Lieutenant title, but nothing, and I mean nothing ever compared to the joy and happiness of these moments together, just me and her.
“I love you Victoria,” I tell her again, I can’t stop saying those words, I adored her, why hide it?
“I know, you’ve told me before,” she says giggling, which only made me smile.
“Can’t I keep saying it?” I say out loud, just in case she ever doubts it or forget about it.
“You can and my answer forever going to be I love you too,” she says with a big smile on her face.
We reached the ducks, we took our regular seats and started to throw them small pieces of bread, she had the big smile on her face again, the

“Where do you wanna travel?” I ask her, I had a full on plan as soon as Lotus graduate, we’ll take a family vacation, we’ll make it a long one, and Lotus can go back home, or to college to a trip on her own, she has Damian, they can go somewhere on their own and leave me alone with: my pretty mate.
“Travel?” she asks.
“Yes, travel, you need to see the world, where would you like to go first? Middle east? Europe? Africa?” I ask her and I saw her think it through.
“Europe sounds good,” she answers me
“We’ll have a whole tour,” I say happily, I can plan it up, we’ll spend a couple days in every country.
“Would it be with the military? Are they sending you there?” she asks

“What? Hell no, I’m taking a year off, it’ll be just the two of us,” I assure her, that it’s not anything work–related, it’s just about the two of

“Can you do that?” she asks, confused.
“Of course I can,” I assure her, we kept on feeding the stupid ducks, I swear when we move back to our pack home, I’ll buy her ducks just to see the smile of hers when she’s feeding them.
“I love you so much,” she says hugging as we left back home, I had to get back to work, and she was off with her new friends.
She made friends with other wolves and wolf mates, they have a small club and between them they are the craziest kind of ladies out there,

but I’m happy for her, that’s the exact kind of crazy she needs in her life right now.
I got to the academy and sat behind my desk, I had a tone of paperwork to do, I swear they give the paper work to the ones who are newly mated, they know we’re too happy and excited to do anything physical, but paperwork, they ground us, they keep us in offices alone so we can’t be out there talking about how much we love our mates or how good our mates are, they have to lock us in the room or else we won’t get anything done.
The hours in the office were killing me, they weren’t just boring they were the worse kind of hours out there, but as soon as the time ends, I was so happy to get out, to run to my car and then to my mate. Every time I opened the door, she’d run toward me and hug me, I’d land kisses on her lips and she’ll kiss me back making my heart melt, I loved being a mated wolf, no wonder other wolves wish it for each other, this is happiness right here.
