After a long pause, Damon finally spoke, voice shaky and awkward.
“Ariel, it was my fault. I was wrong. I never should’ve been involved with
another she–wolf. I made Isabelle get rid of the pup, and I’ve already kicked
her out of the pack. Please, I’m begging you–just forgive me. I’ll even step
down as Alpha of Thornfang Pack. I’ll go with sea, just like we

But Ariel remained calm.
