Isabelle was terrified. Damon loved Ariel so deeply–what would he do once
he found out everything?
She didn’t even dare to imagine.
Then, an idea struck her. A single, desperate way to save herself.
Frantically, she set up her livestream gear, adjusting her makeup and outfit to
look as fragile and pitiful as possible.
Once everything was ready, she went live on Facebook. Silent tears streamed
down her face, her expression full of sorrow
“Everyone… I’ve been hurt… My boyfriend–he has a mistress. He’s going to
leave me for her. But I’m carrying his pup! Why would he do this to me? He
used to love me… How could he change like this?”
With exaggeration and lies, Isabelle skillfully painted herself as a victim–an
innocent she–wolf betrayed and heartbroken.

She flipped the story completely, blaming Ariel for everything she herself had
done.
Now she was the helpless one. The one being wronged.
“Please, can someone help me? I’m scared… What if he makes me get rid of
the pup? I don’t need him–but I can’t lose my baby. It’s my anchor… I can’t
live without it.”
Isabelle wept dramatically on camera, sobbing and choking on her words.
Soon, enraged werewolves flooded the livestream comments in her defense.
“That bitch! How could she treat you like that?”
“Typical. There’s no faithful wolf out there besides Alpha Damon!”
“I live near the streamer–I’ll go help!”
One after another, stirred by anger and emotion, werewolves raced to
Isabelle’s home.

In no time, her building was surrounded.
“Don’t worry, Isabelle. Even if he’s an alpha, cheating is cheating. We’re here-
you’re safe!”
Surrounded and shielded, Isabelle rested a hand on her belly, feeling
completely secure.
With this many people defending her, Damon wouldn’t dare lay a hand on her
-not if he cared about his reputation.
Or so she thought.

Moments later, a furious Damon stepped out of a car, flanked by a squad of
black–clad werewolf warriors.
“Get rid of these nuisances!”
He roared.
Without hesitation, his warriors moved in, swiftly clearing the crowd that had

formed to protect Isabelle.
In less than a minute, she stood alone.
“Alpha… I–I know I did wrong. But I love you!”
Her voice trembled as she threw herself toward him, clutching his shirt in
desperation.

“It’s because I love you that I said those things. I only wanted to be with you!”
“Pathetic.”
Damon sneered, gripping her chin so hard his fingers left deep bruises on her
face.
“You crossed every line–but the worst thing you ever did was lay a hand on
my Ariel.”
“I warned you again and again–Ariel is my life. And now that you’ve driven
her away, you’ll pay the price.”

With that, he shoved her aside without mercy.
Isabelle stumbled back several steps before she barely caught her balance.
She stared at Damon in disbelief. She never thought he could be this
heartless.
“Ariel’s that important to you? Then what about me? What about our pup? Are
you going to just abandon it?”
“All those nights we spent together, wrapped in each other’s arms… Don’t tell
me I meant nothing to you!”
She screamed, her voice raw and desperate.
