Chapter 33
Yasmine was puzzled. But soon, a new app automatically downloaded on her phone. When she opened it, there was a red dot moving on the berr paused and quickly realized if was Sebastian’s location tracker.
She couldn’t help but feel a bit touched. With Sebastian’s location, she could totally track his every single move, while he’d have no clue where she was But now, she had an even better plan brewing.
“I’m buying a villa across from the Zimmerman residence, Quiana,” Yasmine declared. She’d thought it through and found nothing sounded sweeter than rubbing her success in the Zimmermans‘ faces.
Three years of being their pushover was more than enough. Yasmine regretted her initial decision to hide from the Zimmermans. She should’ve made their lives miserable from the start.
Quiana stared in disbelief. “Are you out of your mind? You want to past three years?”
mixed up with those people again? After everything they put you through these
After Yasmine explained her plan, Quiana’s frown turned into a grin. “That’s my girl! I’ll have Jeffrey handle it. You’ll be living large across from the Zimmerman residence before Sebastian and Ashley’s engagement.”
Despite that, Quiana hesitated. “But there’s still a risk of exposure.”
As the Guzman heiress, Yasmine was Beliston’s most sought–after socialite. If her identity got exposed, the Zimmerman family might cook up–especially since they still hadn’t handed over a proper divorce settlement. Quiana worried things could get messy really fast.
“Relax, I’ve got backup plans,” Yasmine said. Then her tone shifted, a dangerous edge creeping in. “But first, I’m gonna teach Bruce a lesson.”
Quiana narrowed her eyes. “Yasmine, I don’t care how you do it. But promise me you won’t put yourself in danger. Okay?”
Yasmine nodded obediently. But the moment the shareholders‘ meeting began, she publicly tore into Bruce’s Marketing Department during her speech.
Bruce’s face darkened. After the meeting, he stormed into his office and smashed a glass. “Damn it! Why did Yasmine have to return right now?”
“Dad.” Eden walked in. A flash of malice crossed his eyes as he took in the shattered glass. “I heard about the shareholders‘ meeting. Yasmine went too far this time–she’s humiliating us!”
Bruce glared at him. “How dare you say that! I put you in charge of Marketing Department, and look what you’ve done. At least try to keep things looking professional, okay? You’ve made me look like a complete joke.
“This time Yasmine gave us a warning. If this happens again, we will be kicked out of the company for good.”
Eden hung his head but protested, “Why are we stuck in this lousy design company?” That was not where the strengths lay.
Bruce paused for a moment and said, “That’s not your concern. I asked you to track Yasmine’s activities for the past three years. What have you found?”
Eden shifted uncomfortably. “The guys from the main house are just too tight–lipped. I couldn’t get any information out of them.”
Bruce lost it. “Are you freaking kidding me? If official channels are dead, hit up the underground!”
Eden sighed, “The black market’s crawling with Hayden’s guys:”
Bruce thought for a moment. “Then reach out to/Nathan.”
