To say Leonard Grant, his character does possess some of the sharpness typical of a prodigy.
Seeing me about to get up, he insisted on nibbling my neck twice.
Marcus Grant clearly saw this.
In his eyes were shock and surprise, and even a bit of obscurity. It took him a while to find his voice:
“Emily, you… you two…”
I adjusted my collar, tilting my head to look at him.
What’s wrong with being with my fiancé?
Marcus Grant suddenly got angry:
“You two aren’t married yet, don’t you have any shame?”
“Brother, that’s not an appropriate thing to say.” I was about to speak when Leonard Grant’s voice came from inside, “You’ve done everything with that little secretary.”
“What about us?”
Marcus Grant didn’t expect him to still be at my place, his face turned red, then white.
“I’m not like you, breaking off an engagement with this one today, and that one tomorrow.”
“When I find someone I love, I’m faithful to the end.”
Marcus Grant’s face was left pale.
“Also, Emily is not for you to call.”
“You should call her sister–in–law.”
Marcus Grant’s lips quivered, but he couldn’t say a word.
I thought he might call me sister–in–law.
How boring.

2 Chapter 2
1 shut the door.
“Emily.” Marcus Grant wedged the door, “Emily, Lily Blake deceived me!”
“Emily, it was her interference that led to us turning out like this!”
“Emily, listen to me, a few days ago I had a dream and it was me marrying you…”
“Wife.” Leonard Grant directly changed the form of address, “The quilt is cold, I’m weak, and it’s chilly.”
“Marcus, how about you come in and talk with your brother?”
Marcus Grant stayed silent.
I closed the door.
