Chapter 23
Prince Jayden and prince Kayden then led us to the thrones; we climbed the steps to where they were. My eye twinkled as I saw the inscription in the ancient wolf language. However, as much as I wanted to read it, I couldn’t. I hadn’t started ancient language class! Which made me sad.
“You okay there, little one? You seem sad all of a sudden? I heard prince Jayden ask as he prince Kayden got down to my
level.
“I can’t read the inscription since I haven’t started the Inks yet I really wanted to know what it said.” I said, pouting.
“Your such a nerd, kiki, Rex sald from behind.
He and II laughed. I just glared at them. Before I could call them dumb, I felt someone lifting me and then I was placed on one of the thrones, Forgetting all about IT and Rex, I grinned excitedly as I saw both the princes smile at me.
“Don’t be sad, Kiara. We’ll read it for you.” Said, prince Kayden.
“It says when the wolf king find’s his luna queen, they shall rise victorious in every battle as one. For the king is the queen, and the queen is the king. They are one and make this kingdom one.” Said prince Jayden as he and prince Kayden gave me a funny look.
1 tilted my head to the side and just stared at them. I waved my hand in front of their faces, bringing them back to reality. I giggled! They were probably sleepy. Jumping off the throne, I looked at them and said,
“We can see the rest tomorrow if you guys are sleepy.” Even though I didn’t want the tour to end, we had only seen a few things, but I didn’t want to keep them awake! They could get grumpy like mommy and daddy do when they don’t get enough sleep.
“We’re okay, Kiara. Come, we’ll show you the rest of the castle, and then tomorrow, we’ll show you the outside.” Said, prince Jayden
Nodding excitedly, I followed my two new friends out of the throne room and down the hallway. They showed us the kitchen, dining room and privative living room, which was boring but I didn’t say that. I wanted to see all the hidden passageways and the treasure rooms. But I stayed quiet. We were only on the second floor, and there were two more floors left. After prince Kayden and prince Jayden showed us the conference room, they led us towards the king’s privative garage, where he kept all his cars after I and Rex constantly nagged them about how bored they were. When we had reached the garage, and the Princes flicked on the lights, mine and II’s mouths dropped open as Tom’s did in Tom and
Jerry.
“Wow.” I and II said simultaneously as we gawked at all the shiny cars and bikes.
I wasn’t a fan of these dumb boy things, but I’ve got to admit they were very pretty. Seeing our reaction, all three of my new friends laughed. Before I knew it I left my hand and hurried along with Rex to see the cars up close. Just as I was about to go towards them, I heard prince Kayden’s voice from above me.
“Do
you want to stay here or see something else, Kiara? I believe Jacob and Rex may take a while.” He said.
I contemplated what they said. Yeah, the cars were nice and all, but they were still dumb boy things. Maybe I could ask to see the treasure room or secret passages they had here, I looked at the princes and smiled.
Do you have secret passages here? In beauty and the Beast, Belle had some secret passages in her castle where they pulled candle stands on the wall, and the wall opened. Do you have something like that here?” I asked.
