Chapter 132
I spent the entire two hours I was allowed at Min’s getting high and telling her all about Mason and Nico.
“Holy shit, girl. Mia says, wiping her nose after yet another line.
“I know, right?” I sigh and drop myself dramatically on the bed.
“I mean, this Nico, he seems like a ball of fun. Plus, this shit right here.” She taps the white powder. “Is fucking good. On the other hand, Mason, wow, what a spanner in the works. Like he’s loved you forever?”
“Like forever. Plus, he makes my stomach do weird school girl flips and I actually want him to touch me. I fucking crave it.
Ugh
“But he won’t let it be a real thing because your family would kill anyone who tries to touch you.”
“Obviously.” I’m midway through another line when a loud banging from downstairs startles me and I end up blowing the content across the floor. “Fuck!” I rub my nose and sigh at the mess.
y your cue.” Mia points out, leaving me rolling my eyes and groaning as I make my way down the stairs
“That’s probably
with her.
“Well, well, well,” Mia chuckles out as she opens the door to reveal Mason by himself. “Where’s tweedle dee and tweedle
dum?”
I laugh, because really, how could I not?
Mason awkwardly rubs t
the back of his neck. “Uh, they asked me to come. They’re setting up something.”
Mia gives me a questioning look, and I just shrug my shoulders back at her. “Right then, I’ll see you later Mia.”
“Goodnight Miss Isla.” She says back, winking. She knows exactly what she just did, as I scowl at her, she pokes out her tongue and shuts the door in my face. Little brat..
I sneak a look at Mason who’s yet to move and looking like someone shot him with a stun gun.
“Are you coming?” I ask, slightly annoyed.
“What was that?”
What?”
“What she called you.”
“That…was nothing. Just a nickname between friends. That you won’t repeat in front of anyone.”
Mason gives me a sideways glance before following me down the driveway
*No car tonight?”
“Nah…it’s only across the road. I thought maybe a walk would be nice…Miss Isla.”

Chapter 132
I stop dead in my tracks, my heart thundering in my chest. The way he says it….fuck…the way that makes the feel heart in that come from his mouth.
“Don’t.” I whisper, closing my eyes to control myself.
“Why not?” He turns in front of me, so we’re face to face when I open my

eyes.
He reaches out a hand, slowly, ever so slowly to cup my cheek. Sending a shiver through my body. “Mason…”
“I can’t stop thinking about your touch. Your skin. Your kiss. You.”
“But yet, you won’t allow me to have you. Not fully. So please, don’t.” I whisper back and his hand drops from my face. I miss it already. The warmth, the love in his touch. He swallows once, twice, then blinks slowly and when his eyes open, they’re back to being their stone–cold version. He simply nods and turns to continue the walk down the drive.
for me and after a swift eye Once we’re home, Mason opens the door and gestures for me to enter. He holds out his arm roll, I take it and allow him to lead me wherever it is we’re going. We stop at the theater doors, and he looks nervously down at me before his mask slips back into place and pushes open the doors. This is honestly the last place I want to be. He’s just lucky I’m high enough to not be able to feel the pain of the betrayal right now. It’s pitch black, but I gasp when the click of a switch flicks and the walls are illuminated by fairy lights. My brothers stand with their chests puffed at the front of the room next to what looks like a blanket fort. Just like what we used to do when we were kids.
“Hey Princess.” Hunter smiles.
“We thought, maybe you’d like to camp with us.” Kaiden finishes.
“Eeep!” I jump and run to them, giving them both a big hug. “Fuck yes! Please tell me that’s pizza I’m smelling.”
“Of course,” Hunter motions to the inside of table in the centre for pizza and drinks.

the ones we used to make. I’m glad to see you guys have upped your building skills.” I mock, “This is so much cooler making them laugh. I crawl inside, picking a spot closest to the centered table and Hunter takes to the other side.
“Come on, Mase, you’re not living if you haven’t experienced one of our camp in’s. Kaiden yells before crawling in to Hunter’s other side. Leaving the only spot left, next to me. Mason’s face appears in the tent, he scans the interior before realising there’s no other choice and crawling in next to me. The tent itself is quite large, but when you take into account table and then three massive mountain men, well, it starts to feel a lot smaller. I’m highly aware of one whole side of my body touching Mason’s, and then not to mention he has to lean completely over me to get to the pizza as well. Oh boy. It’s starting to feel a little warm in here. We watch some new chick flick that really doesn’t interest me, and obviously not my brothers either because they’re typing away on their phones about halfway through. Mason though, I can feel where his attention is, his eyes are burning holes into the places where our bodies connect. After a while I hear snoring and look over to see Hunter’s out to it. I wiggle a little to try and find a more comfortable position, eventually rolling on to my side so my back is to Mason. I think I hear the ghost of a sharp inhale, but I really can’t be sure.
Violent Little Thing.
