Elena’s POV
Damien’s personal assistant Kira had explained everything to me and how the whole share idea would work. After listening to her rant, I understood one thing, if I bought 80% shares of Charlotte and Adrian’s company then I would automatically become their boss. Now I thought even deeper about it and realized that Charlotte would no longer need my help if she found out I was interested in taking over their company.
As a matter of fact, I would appear as her villain and that would crumble all of the plans I had in mind. That was the last thing I needed right now, it would also seem like a waste of Damien’s money. Instead of doing all of that, I thought of a different plan, a more interesting one and this time, Kira was in support of it.
The plan was that I was going to buy 80% of Charlotte and Adrian’s company but this time, I would be anonymus. I would make sure no one knew that I was the one behind it, except Damien. That way, Charlotte and Aiden would feel pressured about the anonymus billionaire who apparently bought 80% shares of their company.

I wondered whether to call him and inform him or not. Damien had made me cram his number a long while ago just incase I got into trouble with anyone.
I thought deeply about it and settled on not telling Damien a single thing about my meeting with Charlotte. I had the feeling that he would protest about it and the last thing I wanted to engage myself in was an heartfelt argument with him. As a matter of fact, I had already made up my mind that i would avoid anything that had to do with arguing with him, at least until our plan is a success.
I’walked into the small restaurant, my eyes roamed the small space, searching for a familiar face. My eyes finally landed on the familiar cherry blonde who was sitting by the window side with a cup of coffee clutched tight to her hand.
I scoffed and eyed her in utter disdain. Just gazing at her made me feel hatred and anger towards her. It suddenly clicked to me that i would need to pretend very well in order to gain her trust and pretend like I am on her side.
I sighed heavily in frustration and forced a smile on my face as I slowly approached her. I tapped her gently on the back causing her to avert her gaze towards my direction. I watched an irritated look grow on her face, at that moment i realized that she had not changed at all, she was still the same old sassy bitch i used to know. She made a small eye roll before pointing to the empty seat in front of her.
“Good morning to you too.” I said sarcastically.
Charlotte just scoffed in response and cleared her throat.
“Shall we get to business now? I have a busy schedule ahead of me.” She said nonchalantly

My goodness, had I forgotten to mention how rude Charlotte was? I was slowly losing my temper.
“If i was one of those girls, do you think I would even think of replying your emails, talk more of actually meeting up with you. For the record, I have a husband..one that actually does not cheat.” I added the last part of my statement as a way to spite her and it worked.
“Good for you then.” She spat out bitterly.
I sighed heavily and adjusted my posture on the chair. “I can give you more details about Adrian cheating on you, why he is doing that and the people he is doing that with.” I said confidently.
“Quick question, why are you helping me? It is not like I am paying you or something so tell me something, what exactly do you gain from all of this?* Charlotte shot dagger glares at me.
I knew she was going to ask me this question, I mean anyone in their right senses would ask the same thing. I was a total stranger to her yet I was willing to help her without receiving a dime from her, that was rare and almost nearly impossible.
I smirked at Charlotte. “Let us just say we sort of have the same goal.” I said.
“What do you mean by that?” Charlotte questioned with her brows furrowed at me.
