The sky was white with fish belly. The cool morning breeze blew open the pink gauze curtain in the bedroom. Rebeccaana woke up in a refrestung mood. She opened her eyes and stretched. Fifteen minutes later, she ran downstairs with her little leather shoes on
“Morning, Dad.”
Chris put down the financial magazine he was reading and reached his hand out to his daughter. The corner of his mouth raised, “Morning, baby, come over to Dad.”
Rebeccaana laughed and ran over.
Chris carried his daughter to his lap. “Why are you up so early? It’s not even seven o’clock.”
“Early to bed and early to rise is good for your health.” Rebeccaana answered in a steamy voice, her eyes sparkling
Chris smiled comfortably. Before could say another word, he heard Rebeccaana say, “This is what Auntie Pretty told me. We agreed that we will go to bed early and get up early every day.”
Chris’s expression darkened immediately.
When he heard that woman’s name early in the morning, he felt very annoyed.
Rebeccaana did not realize that her father’s expression had changed. She continued to say: “Aunty Pretty also said to eat on time, can not be picky, can
not…”
“Rebeccaana.” Chris stopped her with a shake of his head. “Okay, let’s go to the restaurant for breakfast.”
During the meal, Rebeccaana behaved very well. She is not picky about food, not noisy, quietly finished the meal.
“Father, can I discuss something with you?”
Chris looked at him gently, “What’s the matter?”
“I don’t want to go to kindergarten today.”
“Why don’t you want to go? Today is Monday.”
Rebeccaana pursed her lips and hesitated for a moment. In the end, she gave it up. “Because I want to go to the hospital to accompany Auntie Pretty. She is too lonely in the hospital alone.”
Chris’s face was black and he refused without hesitation, “No way.”
“Dad…”
“Rebeccaana, there may be room for negotiation on other matters. This matter is absolutely impossible.” Chris said this with a serious expression and got up from his chair.
“Pack up. Dad will send you to kindergarten.”
Rebeccaana pouted and reluctantly went upstairs to get her small schoolbag.
On the way to the kindergarten, Rebeccaana turned her head and looked out the window, ignoring Chris and not saying a word.
Chris ignored Rebeccaana. He was determined not to compromise and wanted to break her temper.
For Rebecca’s sake, she didn’t even want to go to school.
Twenty minutes later, Rolls–Royce stopped at the entrance of the kindergarten.
In the past, Rebeccaana would wait for her father to carry her out of the car. But today, she opened her side of the door and got out of the car herself. Looking at his daughter’s stubborn and willful back, Chris pressed his eyebrows and instructed the driver, “Make sure Rebeccaana follows Miss Phlips into the classroom.”

“Yes, Sir.” The driver quickly got out of the car.
Ten in the morning.
Teachers from various classes in the kindergarten took the children to the playground, and Miss Phlips from Class 9 was no exception.
“Students, line up and let the teacher take you out to play, okay?”
“Okay.” The children cheered happily and quickly lined up, boys and girls in a row.
Rebeccaana was not in high spirits, so she stayed on her seat and did not move.
Miss Phlips walked over and asked with concern, “Rebeccaana, what’s wrong? Is everything okay?”
Rebeccaana shook her head. “Teacher, I don’t want to go out to play.”
Miss Phlips touched her hair and patiently talked to her, “The children are all out to play. If you don’t go out, you’re the only one left in the classroom. How boring, isn’t it?”
“It’s good to be alone. It’s quiet.”
Miss Phlips frowned slightly, feeling that something was wrong with Rebeccaana today.
“Rebeccaana, tell teacher, are you not feeling well? Teacher will take you to the hospital.”
To the hospital…
A light suddenly flashed across Rebeccaana’s eyes.
“Teacher, are you really willing to take me to the hospital?”
“You’re not feeling well. Of course, the teacher wants to take you there.” This was a once–in–a–lifetime opportunity, and Miss Philips wouldn’t want to
miss it.
Rebeccaana stood up from her seat, held Miss Phillips’s hand, and said in a low voice, “Teacher, my stomach is not feeling well.”
Miss Phlips picked her up and gently comforted her: “Teacher will take you to the doctor right away. Let’s go.”
“Thank you, teacher.”
“Good.”
Miss Phlips brought Rebeccaana to the hospital.
In the hall, there were a lot of people queuing for registration. Miss Phlips hugged Rebeccaana and slowly moved forward in the crowd.
Although Rebeccaana was not her child, she did not dare to neglect her at all. She’s patient, no matter how hard it is.
“Teacher, I want to go to the bathroom.” Rebeccaana covered her stomach and whispered in Miss Phlips‘ ear.
“Now?”
“Mmm.” She nodded
Miss Phlips looked around. There were more than a dozen people in front, and it would be her turn to take the number soon.
If she left at this time, she would have to queue up again when she came back. It was a waste of time.
Miss Phlips looked troubled and quietly asked Rebeccaana, “Rebeccaana, can you hold on for a few more minutes?”
“No.” Rebeccaana shook her head aggrievedly. “Teacher, I need to go now, and I can’t help it.”
Miss Phlips was suddenly a felt confused, wanting to cry but not tears.

“Go to the bathroom now. We’ll have to line up again when we get back.”
Rebeccaana had an idea. “Teacher, you continue to line up here. I’ll go to the bathroom myself.”
Miss Phlips was worried.
“Can you find the restroom by yourself?”
“Yes.” Rebeccaana nedded confidently, “I can read.”
Miss Phlips was still hesitant, worried that Rebeccaana would get lost. If something happened, the Evans family would definitely not forgive her.
Rebeccaana took advantage of Miss Phlips’s hesitation, and with a forceful effort, she left her embrace and jumped to the ground.
“I’m going to the bathroom.” After that, she ran away without looking back.
“Rebeccaana!” Miss Phlips shouted, attracting countless people’s attention. He felt ashamed and immediately lowered her head, not chasing after Rebeccaana.
Miss Phlips calmly thought about it. Maybe he was overdoing it. Rebeccaana was a smart girl and knew a lot of words. There was definitely no problem in finding the bathroom.
Ten minutes later.
Miss Phlips got their que number. Although her legs were sore in the queue, she felt that it was worth it. The corner of her mouth brought up a smug
smile.
She withdrew from the crowd and waited for a few minutes, but she did not see Rebeccaana coming back. be began to panic and had a bad feeling.
“Why isn’t Rebeccaana back? Could it be…”
Miss Phlips shook her head and did not dare to think further. She panicked and took out her phone to call Rebeccaana, only to hear that the other party had turned off the phone.
She instantly felt that the sky was falling. She rushed out of the crowd like crazy and shouted from the corridor, “Rebeccaana, where are you? Rebeccaana, come out quickly. You’re giving me a scare. This is not fun at all.”
Miss Phlips looked around the hospital for a long time, but he still did not see Rebeccaana. He asked many people, but there was no result.
She placed a hand on her heart and fell to the ground. Her entire face was pale, and is forehead was covered in cold sweat. She felt that she could faint at any time.
She had lost the Evans Family’s little princess. What is she gonna do now?
