In the next room, Rowan pushed his suitcase in.
Vincent’s inked eyebrows raised slightly when he saw him return, “Kicked back by your mom?”
“Hmph!” Rowan beamed, exasperated, “Mom is so cold–blooded!”
Vincent walked over and pulled his suitcase to the closet, “Don’t blame your mom, she needs a little time.”
“Dad, when did you say you were going to surprise mom?” Rowan frowned sadly, “I wanted to put mom in a better mood right away! I really don’t like it when mom is like this!”
“Tomorrow night.” Vincent opened his suitcase and turned his head to look at him, “Come here, Daddy will teach you to organize your clothes.”
“Oh!” Rowan walked over, squatted down and looked at the clothes in the suitcasé, hung his head and said, “In the past, mom used to do all these things for us ah, now mom doesn’t even care about us, dad, it seems like we’ve really been left out!”
Vincent gave a beat, then rubbed Rowan’s head, “Don’t be paranoid.”

He wasn’t being paranoid, mom just really didn’t love him and dad anymore!

-The next morning, Sophia’s baby was born.
Early the next morning, Sophia is awakened by Rowan’s cries!
Almost subconsciously she pops up in her seat, opens the door and goes straight to the next room.
Inside the room, Rowan was sitting on the floor next to the bed, still wrapped in the covers, and crying with a cocktail head.
Obviously, he had fallen off the bed.
Sophia walked over and helped him up, checking to make sure he wasn’t hurt, which was a relief.
She scanned the room and wrinkled her nose, “Where’s your dad?”
Rowan pounced over and threw his arms around Sophia’s neck, “Mommy, I fell on my butt, it hurts!”
Sophia was stunned the moment she was hugged by Rowan.
Afterward, her still chaotic mind completely cleared up.
She almost forgot that this child no longer belonged to her.
Sophia pursed her lips, raised her hand and gently pushed Rowan away, stood up, and asked again, “Where is your father?”
Rowan wipes her tears as she cries, “I don’t know ……”
Sophia’s eyes swept and saw the note on the nightstand.
Vincent left it.

Sophia rubbed the note into her palm and laughed under her breath.
Vincent made a call to Sophia at noon, Sophia didn’t answer.
He calls Rowan again.
Rowan picks up the phone in front of Sophia.
On the phone Vincent meant that he needed to stay in New York for two days and asked Sophia to take Rowan to play in Los Angeles first, he had arranged all the excursions in advance.
Sophia simply said, “It’s for a week, it doesn’t matter if you come or not, but I definitely need to go back when the time comes. Besides, it’s none of my business that you missed your appointment yourself this time, so my mission is accomplished.”
Vincent answered on the other end of the phone, “Good.”
After that day, Vincent didn’t call again, and of course, his people didn’t show up.

He called his dad every day, but he never answered his phone.
