Two years later.
I woke up bright and early, earlier than my alarm, today is another day, life has been going on, I know I have lost two years of my life back in the facility but the two years I have spent here in the station with Brooklyn and the rest, I have lived every moment of it, and I have enjoyed it.
Our days are filled with cases, I did have a small training at first but they prefer to have me trained while on the field which means that every case I learn something new, my first case, the cat crises, it pissed me off so badly at first but right now it’s a story we share around camp fire.
I still aren’t allowed to go back and see my family, I have been exiled from the snow pack, and if the judges hear or even sniff that I was around them, I’ll be back in the facility and I will cause my family a lot of troubles, so I’m staying away, although my heart and soul will forever be with the snow Pack.
Not all my cases has been a joke after that first one, I’ve been sent to more serious ones, my wolf has joined in a couple of fights and we’d always win, in my short two years here with the peacekeepers, I’m the proud honor of the title, I haven’t lost yet, not even one time, unlike the rest of them.

The reason I’m up extra early today, it’s not a case that I’m interested in it’s not even a case that I know if I’m in it or not, but I know one guy who is in it. Kyle, my friend from the freak show, remember him, he was released for good behavior, he’s still very much a mute who refuses to talk or maybe he can’t talk, when Brooklyn mentioned that he’s out and trying to contact her, I begged her to take him in. he deserves a second chance and he’s getting it right now
Today is his first case, and I’m giving the honorary shower we all get before our first case, a nice cold bucket of water is getting dumped right on top of his head to help him feel refreshed and ready for the day.
“Ready?” Ezra, the one who I had to beg to join me on this tradition. says, and I nod, he lifted his fingers up counting to three and then we spilled the water right on top of his head, making him sit up with fear. the look was priceless, I might have felt just a tiny bit bad for him, but not enough not to do it, we just started to laugh and took off running, he should chase so Brooklyn can tell him it’s his first mission ever
After the morning fun, and breakfast, I got dressed and ready, Brooklyn was joining us today which meant this case gotta be a bad one, lucky Kyle his first case won’t be one where two mates are fighting over a cat, unlike me.
I wasn’t paying attention to how far away we had to travel, there isn’t many of us out there, so sometimes we are sent to places that are a night or two drive away, we’d just take turns in driving

looking out the window the whole time, being locked up even for the short amount of two years made me appreciate the outside a lot more
These roads, they all looked too familiar to me, it felt like I knew it. like I knew this land once upon a time, but I couldn’t put my finger on that memory, it could be one made up by my brain due to the lockup. sometimes I act weird, but I don’t share everything that goes through my head.
“Listen up,” Brooklyn says, as we stopped the cars and gathered for a quick briefing.
“The alpha of this pack was executed, his beta took his place, abuse has been reported, we are to come in, arrest the beta, and everyone else who are in place of power and help them get back on their feet, this is going to be a long assignment, so better be ready for it.
“Captain, what’s this pack called?” I ask her, my heart shivering with memories that I knew weren’t made up, they were real.
“It has no name, it goes after it’s ex alpha,” she says, I mumbled the name out, ‘Ronan Vile,‘ and she just nods, noticing where she has brought me.
