Chapter 208 Strength.
Ezra POV
“Don’t you want to go see your daughter?” I ask Brooklyn, Whitney won’t sleep unless if her mother tucks her in.
“Noah have it all under control,” she assures me, so she’s staying here, I didn’t know what the plan is, we got her out, it was a stupid move but it worked. We have walked in and demanded her, and they gave her up, it doesn’t work that way usually, although I wished it did and I didn’t need to stay that long in the facility, but waiting two years for her to be out was too long.
We all got too attached to her, it all started when we were sent to her pack, when we met her, and had to run patrol with her, she’s funny, cute, and she’s filled with life. The only young wolf we know is Whitney, and she’s only a baby with brooklyn personality, and the packs we are sent to help, they are usually jerks who hate us and want us gone and don’t mind showing so.
The snow pack was the same they would’ve preferred us to leave as soon as we got in, but thy allowed us in, once they were sure we are there to help them, they counted us as one of them.
And that’s how Noelle, the youngest part of the patrol became everyone’s favourite, we liked the Lunas, but we only talked with them to mess with alphas and it was fun, but she on the other hand was a great friend and company.
“What are we gonna do with her?” I ask next, what about the next

mission we get sent to? Are we leaving her behind? Taking her along. she’s broken, she’s depressed, and she’s been crying for at least twelve hours now, non stop,
“Get her to stop crying,” Mateo says, laying on the sofa playing with his phone.
“She’ll stop crying, and then we need to nourish her back to health. train her until she regain her strength and get her paperwork done so she’s be part of the team,” Brooklyn says.
“I agree to everything, but the paperwork is going to be hard, we need to create a trail she doesn’t have,” I say, I had some history with fake documents and how to make them.
“I believe in your abilities Ezra, make her a trail,” Brooklyn says with a smile, going toward her room.
Me and Mateo had to share one, he’s a little brother of mine, I don’t mind spending time with him, or sharing a room, I looked at him and saw he was still busy with his phone, so I decided to head to bed for
now.
“Good night,” I say and walk to the room, this is a safe home, we think our plan has worked but in case it didn’t, it’s better to keep her hidden while we figure everything out.
I changed into my pj and got to bed, at least I don’t need to run patrol this evening, I like my job, but most days we’re hated, we need to watch our back while running with packs that we are there to help and keep safe. I closed my eyes ready to sleep and that’s when I heard it, more crying, I thought she was done, I could ignore it, let her cry some more, no one feels like themselves the first day out of the facility.

I waited a couple minutes, but I couldn’t take it anymore, the poor thing has a family that she left behind, while most of us had no one left, we didn’t care who we left, but she must miss them like hell.
I walked toward her room, I knocked before going in, I took a seat next to her and I stayed quiet, waiting for her, she came toward me, and I hugged her tight, she was freezing and trembling, she must be anemic by now, she has lost so much weight.
“Tomorrow, we’re going to start training,” I say, and she looks at me confused:
“Training will help put some meat on your bones quickly, you’ll stop being cold, and you’ll get the chance to leave this safe house,” I assure her and she gives me a really small smile.
“Do you promise?” she asks me.
“When I came out of the facility, I was just as thin as you, I couldn’t stand up on my feet even, Mateo could kick my ass, can you imagine,” I say making her smile for real this time.
“All it took was for one of the older guys to take me under his wing, he had me put back on a training program, I was on strict diet filled with so much protein, I was eating like a wolf, and in just three months, I won back most of my strength,” I say trying to encourage her.
“What were you in for?” she asks me, which I expected out of her.
“Fraud,” I say with a smile, I’m not giving that up, ten years taught me nothing but to never get caught again.
“Badass,” she says and I laughed.

“Try to sleep, tomorrow is going to be better, and soon enough you’d be back to your old self.” I say avoiding mentioning her family, she might never meet them again.
