Chapter 202 Talking.
Noelle POV
The days only got worse, I don’t know how long has passed but it passed, I have lost count, I tried to keep count but after a bit, I lost all control over the days that are going, I was stuck and frozen in time.
Today was…I guess…let’s call it Tuesday, that sounds good, it felt like a Tuesday really, and I’m sitting in the anger management class, I’m not angry anymore, I was, sad? Depressed?
What I felt like is a shell of my old self, Brooklyn was right, this place doesn’t care about us, they’d leave us here until the old self we used to be completely disappear and I don’t know who I am anymore.
Some of the killers weren’t here today, maybe they were off to kill some puppies and kick some poor souls until they scream, I was sitting in the class with my head against the wall, my eyes were half closed, thinking about nothing.
“What about you Noelle?” Phoebe asks.
“Just kill me and be over with it,” I say in a low voice.
“Would you like to share?” she says, keeping her calm voice, ignoring my comment.
“Sure,” I say with a shrug, so what, it’s been a while since I heard my own voice, so I wanted to talk and say something, even if it’s my own story.
“Go ahead, how did it daw? dhe adre me
“It started with my mother being raped, and then I was brought into life, thinking her mate was my father, he owe as hell treated me like one, and my mother she was a weak wolf, a broken soul, a forgotten one,” I say in a sad voice, I’m not angry at her anymore, going through what I’ve been through I have found out that sometimes it’s not our choice, sometimes we are forced into becoming a forgotten soul, to bow our heads and just survive,
“Are you angry at your mother?” Phoebe asks me
“No, I feel sorry for her, she was hurt, she didn’t have any support, my father had her moved from her family and support, she felt alone, I don’t blame her,” I say honestly,
“What about your father,” she asks.
“An idiot, clearly an idiot who couldn’t see any farther than his anger and rage,” I say with another shrug
“What happened next?” she asks me.
“They died, and then Mia, my older sister, she decided that we need to run away, best decision she has ever made,” I say.
“Where to?” One of the serial killers asks.
“Mom’s pack, when we got there, the alpha said call me Uncle, I’m part of your family, I’ll never hurt you, feel at home, don’t call me alpha, no need to bow, hey girl, why so angry? Why don’t you go on a run with the patrol,” I say, smiling remembering how well they have treated us when we got there, how they call welcomed us, how they managed to heal our inner wounds without showing or telling that they were helping us.
Chapter 202 Talking
“How old were you?” Phoebe asks.
“Ten years ago, I was young, really young, and they treated me like an adult, they became the only family I really have,” I say with a slight smile on my face.
“So how did you end up here?” The serial killer asks.
“My old alpha, my real father, he decided to attack my family for two reason, kill my sister for humiliating him, and getting me back, but I didn’t know I was his daughter back then,” I say.
“So you lost it and killed them all?” he asks.
“No, I just avenged my friend who was killed in cold blood,” I say. with the same shrug, I was over everything, and I needed to talk, to say something out loud, to heard more than the emptiness and the echo of old voices in my head.
“You don’t deserve to be here,” he says feeling sorry for me.
“Thank you serial killer, that’s nice of you,” I say with a slight smile.
“Serial killer? For real?” he says.
“You look like one.” I assure him.
“Well thank you, and no I’m here because I lost all of my pack, and it’s just me who was left, and they didn’t know what to do with me
anymore,” he says with a shrug.
“Were you the one who killed the pack?” I ask him and he starts laughing.
“Why didn’t you get her talking before, she’s good,” the serial killer says laughing out loud.
“Noelle, this isn’t nice, we don’t judge people,” Phoebe scolds me
“No, you taught us not to be angry, but judging you never said anything about that,” I say with a shrug.
“Noelle,” she says turning bloody red as the whole class was laughing now, I just shrugged and put my head back against the wall, she won, she got all the anger out of me, and some of my soul as well.
