We ran again, it’s the same as last time, we had to stay in line, we had to run with ques, and we didn’t really have any enemies to protect ourselves from, everyone is terrified of this place, no one wants anything to do with this place and whoever is in it.
We ran from dawn till breakfast time, that’s when Mateo pulled me to the side, and we took our own road and kept on running, now this was more freeing, I was on the side of Mateo and he was my equal, I didn’t have to obey him, and I felt free.
No one called us back or told us not to go to the side on our own, since Mateo was here, and I was able to breathe, Mateo kept on running taking me away from the facility did I finally get my freedom back? Am I just free to go and never go back, sadly we came into a small building near the facility, I’m not totally free yet I see.
Mateo shifted back to his human form and asked me to do the same, and then we both walked inside the building, it’s just a small building made of two floors, it looks like it’s filled with offices.
“What are we doing here?“. I ask confused, this isn’t a building we have passed by before, and I had no idea what it’s about.
“This is where we keep the outside help,” Mateo says.
“Help? Like the cleaning crew? For your murders,” I add the last part quickly just so he knows what I really mean.

“No, more of where we keep dentists, orthopaedic, and psychiatric,” he says with a shrug.
“Why are they hidden then?” I ask confused, we had a small medical centre in the facility why is this one hidden?
“No wolf wants to confess that he needs a dentist for a crooked tooth, or a broken bone that refuses to heal correctly, and no one want to say they need help,” he says with a shrug.
“I see, but why am I here? My teeth are perfect and my bones are aligned.” I say out loud but as soon as I said the words, I knew what this was about, I’m here because of my nightmares, this is the last option why I’d be here.
“Do I have to spell it? You’re smart,” he says.
“I don’t need a shrink,” I say.
“We all say we don’t, Dr Sarah says that I’m so hard headed that I’m causing myself problems,” he says with a chuckle.
“You see this doctor?” I ask him.
“Nope, I have my own, but back in a day I saw one here, we all need it to help us understand what we’ve been through, you saw your friend being killed, you were in a trial your own father isn’t your father, the least thing you need is help,” he says.
“I got you,” I say with a shrug, trying to get out of it, using the friendship card.
“Yes, you do, but I’m not enough, I’m not here all the time, you need to talk about everything you’ve been through,” he repeats.

“I don’t want a therapist,” I growl, I already hate Phoebe, she’s my anger management teacher and she drives me insane most days.
“You don’t want it, but you getting it,” he says and I growled at him, but he ignored me and kept walking in asking for some kind of doctor.
“He’s waiting for you inside,” a girl who’s in charge of the appointment

“Thank you, let’s go,” Mateo says, dragging me using some force to get me inside the damn office where the doctor is waiting.
“Hey, doc, this is Noelle, she says she doesn’t need you, but you know how that goes, have fun, I’ll be outside if you need me,” Mateo says and runs away, leaving me alone in the room with him.
I crossed my hands over my chest and looked at him with a glare, he’s an older–looking man with white hair, glasses on, and a very friendly smile, he looks like someone you’d tell all your secret to, but not me.
“I’m Doctor Paul,” he says with a smile, and a British accent.
“You’re British?” I ask him point–blank.
“I am, I served in the army like we all did, but then I was in an accident that almost killed me, but didn’t, and I decided to study psychology after that,” he says.
“Fine, tell me more,” I say taking a seat.
“They had to reconstruct my face, they used metal sheets,” he says and I was looking at his face, I couldn’t see them.
