Chapter 6

My slap landed hard on Bianca’s face, the sound echoing in the room like thunder. She didn’t hesitate, her slap was equally ruthless.

In an instant, we were entangled, pulling hair, screaming, fury erupting with the weight of years of betrayal, silence, and pain.

“You deserve nothing!” she spat through

clenched teeth, scratching at my arms.

I shoved her away. “You deserve what’s coming for you. Just wait and see.”

Alpha Jason’s loud voice interrupted our brawl.

“What is going on here?!” he roared.

Before I could speak, Bianca turned around, immediately adopting the posture of a victim.

“She attacked me!” she cried out, pretending to sob, throwing herself into Jason’s arms. “I was just trying to calm her down, she suddenly went mad! She doesn’t want me and Robert living

here, she’s full of hate and jealousy-”

“Lies!” I shouted.

But it was pointless.

Jason’s eyes were already filled with disgust. “How dare you lay a finger on her?” he charged at me, “After everything?”

Another slap, hard and unforgiving, struck my

face.

My head whipped to the side, but no tears fell. I just stared at him quietly.

“You’re finished,” he snarled, “Get locked

in your room and get ready for tomorrow’s

investor meeting. Screw it up and I swear your

father’s life is forfeit.”

They dragged me into the room and locked the door.

The click of the lock sounded all too familiar.

But this time, I didn’t feel trapped.

I opened my laptop, took out the USB drive,

and reviewed the investor files one last time.

Then, I wrote a letter:

Tristan,

Here are the files for the Pack Alliance investors.

Take them and steal them from Alpha Jason. He

doesn’t deserve a single piece of my wolf pack.

Soon, he replied:

Gladly, darling. See you tomorrow.

A few hours later, the door was flung open.

It was Bianca.

“Oh good, you’re still awake,” she said nonchalantly, not even looking at me. “Jason said you can come out now-but just for a

while.”

I didn’t move, didn’t respond.

At that moment, a small boy ran in-Robert, holding a sandwich and a juice box.

“Look who’s here!” Bianca cooed, ruffling his hair, “Go say hello to your new maid.”

I didn’t have time to react before Robert hurled the sandwich at me, the ketchup staining my

shirt.

He giggled, shouting, “You’re a monster! I don’t want you here!”

I swallowed hard, fighting back the tears in my

eyes.

Bianca smirked sweetly, “Oh, he’s been so energetic lately. Well…” she said, turning to leave, “I need to meet with Jason to discuss investor preparations, you know?”

She cast me a sinister smile, “Since you’re living here for free, do something useful—take care of him. He needs a maid after all, and obviously,

I’m very busy.”

Without waiting for my reply, she laughed and walked away, her heels clicking down the hallway in a self-satisfied rhythm.

I was set to spend the night with their detestable pup!

The next morning, the house was a cacophony

Jason barking orders, Bianca playing the part. of the supportive partner, Robert screaming as usual, chaos woven into their collective fate.

I dressed calmly.

Playing this role one last time.

Jason strode into the living room, dressed in a perfectly pressed charcoal suit.

“Everything ready?” he demanded.

“Yes,” I said, handing him the USB drive, “Your presentation files and speech notes are all on

here.”

“Very good,” he said, snatching the drive from me, “I’ll take Bianca first. You come in the

second car. Make sure nothing goes wrong.

Pack Alliance investors are expecting perfection. today.”

“Of course,” I replied, forcing a smile,

Once they left, I turned and headed upstairs

where Robert was playing.

Third Person POV

Jason adjusted his cufflinks and glanced at the

clock.

The conference room was ready.

Everything was supposed to be perfect.

Until he inserted the USB drive into his laptop,

he didn’t anticipate what would come next.

The screen flickered, then a sound that couldn’t be ignored filled the air.

Jason froze.

An indecent video dominated the screen.

His face, Bianca’s voice, their bodies.

Their illicit affair-every sordid angle recorded, clear timestamps, uncensored.

“Alpha Jason?” a member knocked on the door, partially opening it, “We tried to open the presentation file on the backup-it’s empty. There’s nothing there.”

“And…” another member rushed in, breathless, “The investors…they all canceled. They just

left. They said they don’t want anything more to do with Blackstone Pack.”

Alpha Jason stood motionless, fists clenched.

“Call Bella,” he demanded angrily.

They tried, but no response.

He grabbed his phone, furiously sending a text.

Where are you?

What did you do?!

Come back immediately.

No reply.

No call back.

No read receipt.

Right then, a letter was delivered to his hand.

It was a matte black envelope.

He ripped it open, inside was her resignation.

letter.

And below it… the mate termination

agreement.

She had already signed it.

No, he wouldn’t accept this!

Jason’s hand tightened around the envelope, fury boiling within him.

He overturned the contents of the conference table, papers flying everywhere.

“Find her!” he yelled, “Check the house, contact the driver, review the damn security footage- do something!”

Minutes later, his Beta called, voice hesitant.

house.”

Jason’s fist trembled, “Cut off her father’s life support,” he ordered through gritted teeth, “Immediately. She’ll have to crawl back!”

Less than a minute later, a second call came

from the Pack Hospital.

“Alpha Jason… we can’t do that.”

“What do you mean?” Jason growled, “He’s under my control!”

“He isn’t anymore,” the nurse replied, “He was transferred yesterday. A foreign pack’s medical team came with Pack Alliance’s court order and signed transfer papers. He’s no longer under

your care.”

Jason was speechless, the conference room

door burst open.

Bianca ran in, pale, breathless, her heels clacking on the marble floor.

“Jason!” she cried out in panic, “Jason-our
