Chapter 15
Third-Person POV
Grayson hadn’t been involved in the chaos earlier. By the time Judy saw him again, he had changed into a crisp white suit, his hair neatly styled, his face freshly shaven.
It was the first time she got a clear look at her
soon-to-be husband-and she had to admit, he was strikingly handsome.
He stood tall, his shoulders broad and posture upright.
From the moment he’d arrived, Grayson’s
impression of Judy had only grown. She was beautiful, yes-but it was the way she stood tall through betrayal and pain, how she calmly displayed those damning photos, that truly impressed him.
When the last of the gawkers and wedding crashers had been cleared out, Grayson offered her his hand.

“All the distractions are gone now,” he said gently. “Shall we continue?”
Judy looked up, then placed her hand in his.
It was a different kind of hand than Simon’s- larger, rougher. But when he held her, she felt a strange, unfamiliar calm settle over her chest.
“You won’t regret marrying me, right?” Grayson asked with a teasing smile, mischief flickering
in his eyes.
Judy hesitated only a second before answering, “No. This was my decision. And I don’t regret it.”
“Good.” He grinned. “Neither do I.”
The ceremony resumed.
Just as the officiant raised his voice, a pounding came from the front entrance.
Word spread quickly: Alpha Simon was still outside, raging like a mad wolf, trying to force his way into the wedding.
But the Silver Claw Pack’s warriors held the
line. No one got past them.
Judy barely reacted.
After the vows were said and the ceremony. officially sealed, Grayson led Judy around the hall to toast the guests. When they reached a table with several of Grayson’s close allies-and even some of Alpha Simon’s former friends- everyone lifted their glasses.
“Judy, you really picked right this time,” one said. “Grayson’s a real Alpha. Not like that scumbag Simon.”
“Seriously,” another scoffed. “This was supposed to be your wedding day, and Simon turned it into a full-blown circus with Wilona.
Glad you flipped the script.”
“Congratulations, Luna Judy,” someone else
added. “Don’t look back now.”
Judy gave a soft smile and raised her glass. “Don’t worry, I won’t.”
And she meant it.

She glanced briefly toward the entrance, where the guards still stood firm.
Look back?
Judy would never go back to Alpha Simon-not in this life, not in the next.
The wedding, which had begun at sunrise, finally wrapped up around mid-afternoon.
By then, Judy was exhausted. After changing out of the heavy wedding dress, she could finally breathe again. Her parents remained behind to entertain relatives, so Grayson took her hand and led her away from the crowd.
As they approached the front doors, Judy suddenly stopped.
“Can we leave through the back?” she asked,
her voice soft but firm.
She didn’t want to risk seeing Simon again.
Grayson looked at her, immediately understanding. He didn’t ask questions-just
nodded.

“Of course. Wherever you want to go, that’s where we’ll go,” he said, leaning in slightly with a smirk. “You’re my wife now. That means |
listen to you.”
He tilted his head, and for a second his face was far too close-handsome and unreasonably
smug.
Judy blushed.
Grayson chuckled under his breath. “You get shy way too easily. You sure you were in a five-year relationship?”
She narrowed her eyes. “And what about you, Alpha Grayson? A strong, charming Alpha like you must have had a line of she-wolves chasing after you.”
“Alpha Grayson?” he repeated, lifting a brow. “Who are you talking to?”
He was teasing her now-and loving every second of it. Her blush crept all the way to her
ears.

“I’m just… not used to it yet,” she mumbled, dropping her gaze.
“Not used to what?” he pressed playfully.
“Calling you that…..”
“Calling me what?”
“…Husband.”
Her voice was barely a whisper, but it sent heat straight to Grayson’s chest. He threw his head back and laughed.
“Well then,” he said, raising his voice, “Hey-
wife!”
“You-!”
Judy swatted at him, scandalized, but he only laughed harder.
Before she could respond with a proper scolding, Grayson took her hand again, lacing.
their fingers together.
“Alright, alright. Let’s save the flirting for later

—at home. No rush, honey. We’ve got a whole lifetime to enjoy each other.”
He led her out the back, shielding her with his body as they slipped into a sleek black SUV waiting at the curb.
But just as Grayson started the engine, Judy caught a blur in the rearview mirror.
Alpha Simon.
He had broken past the outer guards and was running up the street, disheveled, desperate,
breathless.
“Judy, don’t go!” he shouted, slamming his fists on the back of the SUV. “I was wrong! Please, please-just give me one more chance!”
