Chapter 13
Third-Person POV
“You also said you’d only ever marry me.”
Judy lifted her eyes and met Alpha Simon’s panicked gaze.
“Have you forgotten?” she asked quietly. “I swore… if you ever betrayed me, I’d marry
someone else. That was our vow, Simon. Or did
it only matter when it served you?”
Simon’s blood turned cold. This wasn’t a bluff.
For the first time, he truly understood-Judy wasn’t playing games anymore.
“I’m sorry, Judy,” he choked out, stumbling toward her. “I was wrong. Please forgive me. I
won’t marry Wilona. I won’t even see her again.
Just… give me one more chance. Just one.”
“Take him away,” Alpha Grayson ordered coolly.
At his signal, his men stepped forward,

surrounding Simon in a tight formation.
Grayson hesitated only briefly, glancing at Judy with concern. “Luna, what do you think?”
The word hit her like a sudden breeze against. burning skin.
Luna.
Judy’s cheeks flushed. She turned to Grayson, finding his golden eyes locked on her with warmth and intensity.
For a heartbeat, her resolve trembled. But then she remembered who she was now-Grayson’s
bride.
She gave a nod. “Okay.”
Simon’s eyes widened in desperation as the
guards moved in.
“Judy!” he cried, lunging forward, his grip tightening on her wrist. “Please! I know I was. wrong, but you can’t marry someone you don’t love! You love me! You always have! Five years- have you really forgotten?”
2/6
Forgotten? No.
She had loved him for five years. Truly. Fiercely.
Their bond had once been real-before Wilona.
Before betrayal.
There had been countless moments of laughter, quiet nights filled with whispered dreams of the
future. But Simon had made his choice. And she
had given him every chance to make it right.
He hadn’t.
She gently pulled her hand free.
This time, she didn’t even speak. She didn’t
need to.
Grayson’s voice cut through the air. “Take him
out.”
Simon dropped to his knees as the guards. gripped his arms, dragging him toward the exit. His body collapsed against the floor at her feet, his voice raw and trembling.

“Judy! Don’t do this! Don’t marry him-marry me! We can do it right now! Right here, I swear
it!”
It was the first time Judy had ever seen Alpha Simon truly fall apart. His dignity shattered. His pride abandoned.
Once, maybe, she would’ve cried seeing him
like this. But now?
Now, she didn’t even flinch.
She closed her eyes, turned her back, and
walked toward the stage.
She stopped at the front, turned to the crowd, and spoke clearly:
“Everyone-today, I’m getting married. Yes, Simon’s wedding is next door, and mine is here. Some of you may be friends of both of us. Go where you feel welcome. If you wish to stay, you’re welcome to share a drink. If not, I understand, You may leave now.”
Her voice was steady, not a tremor in it.

The doors slammed open as Grayson’s men finally pushed Simon out.
Outside, his furious voice roared through the hallway, echoing.
Wilona burst into tears, stumbling after him. “Simon, please stop! She’s made her choice. Let her go. Let’s just leave and get married ourselves!”
But Simon turned on her with bloodshot eyes,
his voice a guttural snarl.
“Get out of my way!”
He shoved her aside, his wolf rising close to the
surface.
“I won’t marry you. I never wanted to. The only woman I’ll ever marry in this life is Judy!”
Wilona hit the wall, sobbing as she slid to the floor. Her tears poured freely now.
She had thought Judy was here to fight her for Alpha Simon.
5/6
She had underestimated her. Judy was
marrying another man-on the very same day.
Wilona trembled, watching Simon unravel completely.
“She doesn’t want you anymore,” she
whispered through her sobs. “She’s already someone else’s Luna.”
“No!” Simon roared, his voice cracking with madness. “She’s mine! She’s mine! She’ll never
marry anyone else!”
But the Silver Claw Pack wolves had heard
enough.
