“Okay,” she says turning bloody red, she went missing for ten whole minutes, I was starting to get worried that she might leave and not come back, but she came back, she sat in front of me with her cheeks flushed, her breathing was all over the place, she looked at me with a sigh and then asked.
“What does it mean?” she says, but she must know what it means.
“You know what it means,” I say with a–small smile on my face.
“Is it real?” she asks, sounding excited and scared at the same time.
“It is, I’m sure you didn’t have it earlier,” I say, meaning the mate mark, she gets it as soon as the mate wolf smells her, or is nearby, and it happened.
“I didn’t, but does it mean what I think it does?” she asks me.
“It means love, although I don’t know your name, you’re now my whole world, my sun only rises for you, and my moon shines on your face,” I say honeslty, she became my moon and sun the second I laid eyes on her, her scent was the fanciest perfume I have ever smelled, the stupid smile on my face, I couldn’t wipe that away even if a gun was pointed to my head.
“You don’t know my name,” she says with a gasp, she didn’t tell me her name yet, which meant all I knew what to call her as was Love so far.
“I’m glad to keep calling you love,” I assure her with a shrug.
“You don’t have to, but you can call me it if you want…I’m Viki, I mean Victoria, I’m Victoria Green, nice meeting you,” she says offering me a

hand to shake which I took, shook and then kissed the top of it.
“Victoria,” I say her name out loud, perfect for her.
“Levent?” she asks not sure if that’s my name although I have said it already.
“Exactly love,” I assure her, and she just smiles at me, and I felt my heart skip beat with happiness.
“So tell me about you,” she says in a worried voice, wanting to know me but unsure what to ask or how to ask it.
“As mentioned, my name is Lieutenant Levent Savage, I’m part of the army, I’m here on an assignment, I’m the oldest son of three kids, I have a younger sister and a younger brother. I belong to the Snow pack, I’m thirty–four in human years, I love everything that you do, but I used to like summertime, I like being outdoors, I’m a meat lover, so I beg you not to be vegan. I don’t mind pets, although we never had ones growing up since mom and dad were busy raising three feral wolves, I love kids, my sister has twins, I adore their little arses, anything else you wanna know about me?” I ask her, giving her a very quick rundown on who I really am.
“I’m Viki, as mentioned,” she says with a giggle, copying my last statement, I loved her sense of humour already.
“Yeah, tell me more,” I beg her.
“I’m thirty–three human years, I like summers too, I spend too much time outside even if I don’t feel like it, I work here and I work odd jobs here and there to be able to pay bills you know how the world is. I always heard of people who meet their mates out of the sudden, that one day you’d be walking in the street and then a wolf claims you, but I never imagined it happening to me,” she says looking at me with wide eyes, she still sounded and looked like she didn’t believe any of it.

“Well who knows, but yeah, I found you,” I say, I was still holding her hand and she didn’t object to it, she allowed me to hold it the whole time.
“I’m so happy to be found,” she says just as excited as me.
“Victoria, back to work,” her manager, a guy who looked mid–forties, he looked miserable, he had the biggest frown ever, he gave off bad energy, if you spent too long near him, you’d feel like committing suicide.
“She quits,” I say out loud.
“Said whom?” the guy says stopping and turning to us confused.
“Her mate, she doesn’t need this job anymore, consider he quitting right now, go ahead and put a waitress needed sign, she’s done,” I say and then turn to her to see her looking at me with her mouth wide open looking at me confused.
