“You can’t drop out Lotus, you’re going to finish your highschool years at least.” I begged her, she doesn’t have to go to college if she doesn’t feel like it, but I need her to finish high school at least.
“Why not? I don’t want to go, there’s nothing left for me,” she says.
“Your mother death isn’t the end of your life little flower,” I scold her, but she just shrugs at me again, saying why don’t you try me with her
moves.
I had enough of her, I need to get a permanent solution for her depression, what I’m doing clearly isn’t enough, although I’m trying my best, but it’s not what she needs, she needs something more that I can’t provide..
I got out of her room and called beta Emmalyn, asking her if she could come by and babysit Lotus while I go out and run some errands, she said yes right away and was over our place in less than five minutes. I left the house and group calling all of Uncle Richard, Luna Whitney, Beta River, and even Hydra the pack’s lawyer for legal advise.
“Lotus’s mother has died and she’s mourning like a wolf, he refuses to get out of it, she won’t eat, she won’t get out of the house, she doesn’t want to go back to school, and everything I tried so far has failed with her,” I say honestly trying to get their help and their input on everything that’s going on.
“Did you try involving her friends?” River asked.
“She only agreed to go visit her mother’s grave and then came back just as sad,” I answer him.

“She’d just melt and cry some more,” I answer her.
“Firm love, that’s what that girl needs, she’s too strong, she’s too hard- headed, you need to deal with her as if she’s an alpha threat,” Uncle Richard says.
“I tell her to shift and then we both fight?” I ask him with a raised brow although he couldn’t see me.
“Legally, she’s not a wolf, and she’s your mate, which makes both of those things illegal,” Hydra adds without giving any more details or his opinion.
“That’s not what I meant, I meant more of giving her some tough love, she needs to get out of the house, she needs to move on, push her to do so.” Uncle Richard says.
“How?” I ask them with a sigh, I don’t know how to deal with her, I don’t want to hurt her or make her hate me either.
“I have an idea,” Luna says.
“What is it?” I ask her.
“Push the mating forward, make her feel more of your mate,” she says, meaning sex, she wants me to have sex with her to break her depression.
“That would make her feel used while in vulnerable space, I won’t do it,” I object.
“He’s right, but I have another idea,” River says.
“Which is?” I ask him feeling desperate, they can’t just say they got ideas and not tell them to me.

“Make her turn into a wolf, she’s mourning like one, make her one, so she’ll know how to deal with her depression,” River says.
“I can’t do that, her medical proxy is her mother,” I say and then notice what I said, her mother is dead.
“Then it’ll be her stepfather, Levent, if you manage to get him to consent, we can get her shifted and I think it’s a good chance, supported by medical research,” Hydra says.
“Levent is still in mourning, but I’ll get him to consent,” I assure Hydra.
“I’ll send the papers over to you, get him to sign, and then we’ll move from there,” he says.
“Okay,” I say, answering him, I decided to drive back to the cemetery to get Levent’s approval, I have healed mostly but I’m also ready for a second fight with him.
I parked near there, and then got out, I walked toward the grave and as expected,I found my brother there, he growled at me and showed off his teeth telling me to get away from him.
“Lotus isn’t doing that well,” I say out loud keeping some distance between us.
“She’s depressed, she’s not just sad, she’s miserable, she won’t get out of bed, she won’t go to school, today was the first time she get out of the house and all she did was come over here,” I inform him, he just whines when he heard the news.
“I have talked to uncle, aunt, Hydra, and River, they all advised we do this,“I say waiting to see his reaction, and he just nods, listening to me.
“We think it’s better if we change her into a wolf, she’s mourning like one, why not be one as well,” I say and he nods agreeing with me yet again.

“We need you to sign on some papers, can you do that for her, Levent, she’s Victoria’s daughter, she’s what’s left of her in this world, don’t you want her baby to be happy? Please, can you do that,” I begged him, he has to shift back to sign.
He just gives me a low growl as answer which wasn’t a real answer, so I still have no idea if he’s going to do it or not.
“It’s for Victoria, I’ll have the papers tomorrow, I just need you for a minute, sign and leave, I’ll deal with the rest,” I promise him, he doesn’t have to worry about anything, he could get back to his mourning, but first we need to take care of her only daughter in this life.
He nods, and then he growls at me, pushing me away, telling me to fuck off so he could go back to guarding the grave and drowning in his misery.
