“Think, if you’re done you can go back to your class,” he says, and I looked down at my notes, and notice that I have written down pack house.
“What’s a pack house?” I ask him.
“It’s the house where the alpha lives, the life in the pack land is different from a compound,” he says.
“How so?” I ask him.
“The compound has a lot of packs and different members, but in the pack land, we all belong to same pack, we have one alpha and one beta. We have houses everyone own their own place, we help each other when it’s time to move out, or get mated or go to college. The house where the alpha lives is the pack house, it’s usually the biggest house in the middle of the pack land, and everyone get to come in when they need help or protection, some people would just crash there, but you’d have your privacy of course, we have a floor that’s out of reach for the rest of the pack members, it’s just ours,” he says quickly, making sure to explain as much as possible for me in one sentence, everyone could come into the alpha’s house, my future home, which means I’m going to see a lot of wolves.
“Uhhh…do they come in while in wolf form?” I ask him, feeling worried all again.
“Some yes, by the time we move there, you’d be ready to go face to face with any wolf,” he promises me, first step is for me to get used to him being a wolf, and maybe stop sleeping on the floor of my bedroom, and start sleeping on my bed–instead.

“Okay, I’ll take your word for it, I’m done here,” I say putting my papers away, I still need to do some extra research to fill the two papers, I’ll pick a bigger font and add as many spaces as possible.
“I’ll walk you back to your class, and see you after school?” he says and I nod agreeing with him.
“Are you going to pick me up?” I ask him.
“I’m sorry, I can’t, I need to pick up extra classes to make up for my time here,” he answers me.
“Ohh…okay, I’ll catch a ride with Nutmeg then,” I say thinking of asking her about being a Luna and all, she’s a Luna, she’s mated to Mariano, she knows more about this than me.
“Okay Little Flower, bye baby,” he says kissing the top of my head, after he walked me to my class door, it felt like we’re dating now, he acts like the boyfriend I always wished for, I walked into the class, the teacher had nothing to say to me, I had a pass apparently, I don’t understand this school, it’s different than the normal school.
I asked Nutmeg for a ride and she said yes of course, I was glad to have a ride and not needing to ask Levent to come get me. When the day ended and I got in the car with them, I started to ask questions right away, having my notebook out, and asking for more information that they got on this whole situation.
“So what do you know about being a Luna?” I ask, Nutmeg.
“It’s my future, I’ll join the snow pack along with Mariano, we’ll start to take over from the older alpha, we’ll take over responsibilities little by little,” Nutmeg says.
“What’s going to be your first step?” I ask her.

“Are you sure?” I ask her, that’s not even a thing that I have thought of.

“Yes, last time we went there, someone used Meggy’s mug and she got so mad, she’s going to get that mug made,” Mariano says chuckling, he sounded very proud of her.
“Oh damn, that’s rude,” I say, but I wrote it down anyway.
“What are you upto?” Mariano asks me.
“I gotta do a paper research about being a future Luna,” I answer him.
“Oh, I had to do those too, back when I was taking the wolf classes,” Nutmeg says.
“You still have any of your old assignments?” I ask her.
“You know I got your back girl,” Nutmeg says, making me smile.
“Your mate won’t be too happy about this,” Mariano says.
“You know him?” I ask Mariano.
“No, I’m mostly in Thalia’s classes, but I saw him a couple times,‘ Mariano answers me.
“Then it’s fine Nutmeg, we’re all clear,” I say, giggling, and she too joined me right away, he can’t tell him anything if they aren’t friends.
