Chapter 132: Rescue and Revelation
Chapter 132: Rescue and Revelation
(Aria’s POV)
The burly hired thug approached with murderous intent, his scarred face twisted with determination. Despite my desperate attempts to shield Alexander’s wounded body, the man roughly shoved me aside.
“Get out of the way, b***h!” he snarled.
My bound hands made it impossible to maintain balance as I tumbled backward onto the concrete floor. The thug grabbed Alexander by his blood–soaked collar and began dragging him toward the industrial cement mixer. The massive machine continued its thunderous roar, hungry for another victim.
Fresh blood continued to trail across the warehouse floor from Alexander’s stab wound, creating a horrifying crimson path that filled me with dread. My wolf howled in distress within me.
“Alexander!” I screamed, watching helplessly as his pale face grew even whiter.
“No!” I cried out desperately, struggling to stand up despite my bound ankles.
But Claire suddenly appeared above me, pushing me back down with vicious force. Her twisted, gleeful expression revealed the depths of her madness.
Her emerald eyes gleamed with insane satisfaction as she watched Alexander being dragged closer to his
doom.
“Aria Summers, don’t rush!” Claire laughed maniacally. “You’re next in line!”
She clapped her hands together with demented glee.
“I want you to watch with your own eyes as Alexander gets twisted into a pile of bloody mush! Hahahaha…”
I was about to attempt standing again when suddenly there was an earth–shattering crash.
A pure black luxury SUV with the distinctive Shadow Pack emblem had smashed through the warehouse entrance. Metal and debris scattered everywhere as the vehicle burst into the space.
When the driver’s door opened and an imposing figure emerged, my face immediately lit up with wild joy. “Dominic!” I called out, my voice cracking with relief.
His powerful Alpha presence filled the warehouse instantly, making even the concrete walls seem to vibrate with his authority.
Claire’s expression transformed from gleeful madness to panic and shock. She instinctively stepped back several paces, her confidence evaporating.
When she saw Dominic walking toward us with his commanding presence and grim expression, she .apped back to reality. Her eyes darted around frantically before falling on a heavy wrench nearby.
Claire immediately bent down and grabbed the metal tool, raising it above her head with murderous intent. “Go die!” she shrieked, charging toward me with the wrench.
But before she could bring the weapon down, Dominic had already leaped forward with his superior Alpha

speed.
His powerful kick connected with Claire’s midsection, sending her flying several meters away. She crashed into a stack of metal barrels with a thunderous clang.
His silver–gray eyes flashed dangerously as he watched her crumple to the floor.
Dominic approached me immediately, his powerful Alpha scent wrapping around me protectively.
“Aria, are you alright?” he asked with concern, his voice gentle despite the chaos around us.
He helped me up from the ground and moved to untie my restraints with practiced efficiency.
However, I urgently pushed away his hands, panic flooding through me.
“Quick, quickly go save Alexander!” I frantically pointed toward the cement mixer. “They’re going to kill him!” Dominic remained unmoved, only frowning slightly. He continued using his knife to cut through my ropes with steady precision.
“Don’t worry,” he said in his deep voice, completely calm. “Alexander is fine. Someone has gone to rescue him already.”
It was only then that I realized Dominic hadn’t come alone.
Seven or eight territorial enforcers had followed behind him into the warehouse, their professional gear glinting in the dim light.
Once freed from my restraints, I immediately got up to check on Alexander’s condition. My ankles wobbled unsteadily after being bound for so long.
Dominic steadied my arm with gentle strength, his Alpha protectiveness evident.
“Be careful,” he cautioned.
The burly hired thugs had been subdued by the territorial enforcers with impressive efficiency. Heavy silver–infused restraints now secured their wrists.
Even Claire lay handcuffed on the floor, her perfect makeup smeared with dust and defeat.
Alexander was being carefully helped up by a uniformed enforcer, his movements slow and pained.
As he shifted position, the wound from the extracted knife began bleeding heavily again, staining his torn shirt with fresh crimson.
Despite his obvious agony, Alexander managed a weak smile in my direction. His amber eyes were dim with pain but alive.
“Aria…” he called out softly.
I rushed forward as quickly as my injured ankles would allow, my eyes stinging with unshed tears.
“Don’t talk,” I told him firmly. “We need to get you to the hospital immediately.”
Soon, Alexander was being carefully helped into an official enforcer vehicle by several uniformed officers.
I instinctively wanted to follow but Dominic’s strong hand grabbed my wrist.
He glanced down at my swollen ankle with concern.
“You ride in my car,” he stated with Alpha authority. “Your injuries need proper medical attention too.”

Chapter 132 Rescue and…
At that moment, we heard Sadie’s crying voice plercing through the warehouse noise.
“It hurts so much! Be gentle with me, woo woo woo…”
I suddenly remembered that Sadie had also been kidnapped with me during the staged accident.
**
Sadie had been untied by the territorial enforcers and stood unsteadily nearby. She looked around with wide, traumatized eyes before her gaze settled on me and Dominic.
She cried with red–rimmed eyes as she stumbled forward, trying to throw herself at Dominic for comfort.
“Alpha Dominic…” she sobbed desperately. “You finally came! I was so scared…”
But Dominic placed a firm hand on her shoulder, frowning as he maintained distance with his commanding Alpha authority.
“Don’t move,” he said coldly. “You’re dirty.”
Sadie was momentarily stunned, then looked down at her soiled clothes with grievance. But she didn’t dare approach Dominic again after his clear rejection.
Seeing that Sadie was physically unharmed, I felt relief wash over me.
I turned to leave with Dominic, but suddenly felt sharp pain shoot through my injured ankle. The agony nearly made me lose my balance completely.
In the next moment, I felt myself being swept off my feet as Dominic scooped me up effortlessly in his strong
arms.
Linstinctively tried to struggle against his hold, acutely aware of my disheveled state.
“I’m much dirtier than Sadie after all that crawling and fighting,” I protested.
But Dominic looked down at me with those intense silver–gray eyes.
“Don’t move,” he said firmly. “Your foot is seriously injured.”
When I continued protesting, “I’m dirty…” he simply replied.
“I don’t mind.”
His distinctive cedar scent surrounded me completely, calming my agitated wolf.
Dominic carried me toward his luxury SUV while Sadie stamped her feet in obvious frustration behind us.
In the vehicle, I immediately asked the question weighing on my mind.
“Do you know which hospital Alexander has been taken to?”
Dominic started the engine and looked at me with an unreadable expression. His silver–gray eyes studied my face as he asked.
“You’re that concerned about him?
I explained honestly. “He was injured trying to save me…”
I reflected on the terrible truth. If Alexander hadn’t blocked Claire’s knife attack, I would be the one lying bleeding on that warehouse floor right now.
Dominic didn’t say anything more, but his jaw tightened slightly. He drove toward Silvercrest Hospital with his powerful hands steady on the steering wheel.

At Silvercrest Hospital, medical staff immediately brought a mobile stretcher when they saw us arrive.
But I waved them off with embarrassment.
“No need,” I protested. “I just injured my ankle. No need for such trouble…”
Dominic waved them away with confident Alpha authority.
“Alright, go on. I’ll carry her over myself.”
Though I wanted to refuse again, when I met Dominic’s deep, intense eyes, I swallowed my protests.

Dominic carried me directly to the orthopedic consultation room where a werewolf specialist examined my ankle injury with professional thoroughness.
“It’s fine,” the doctor concluded with relief. “Fortunately no bone damage occurred, but you can’t overexert yourself recently. Rest for a while and you’ll be perfectly fine.”
Dominic listened intently to every word of the doctor’s instructions and prescriptions, his Alpha protectiveness in full display.
After leaving the consultation room, I felt compelled to check–on Alexander’s condition. My wolf whimpered with concern for the injured Alpha.
Dominic anticipated my request and informed me before I could ask.
“Don’t worry, I already inquired about his status,” he said, his voice carefully neutral. “Alexander is fine. The knife has been successfully removed and didn’t hit any vital organs. He’ll recover after some rest.
I felt the heavy weight of guilt lift from my shoulders. Alexander had been injured while saving me, and if something serious had happened to him, I would have carried terrible guilt forever.
But then Dominic asked a question that made me pause, his silver–gray eyes sharp with suspicion.
“Claire was clearly targeting you specifically, but how did Alexander end up there so quickly?”
I looked up at him with confusion. “Alexander came to rescue me.”
Dominic raised an eyebrow with a half–smile, his Alpha intuition clearly skeptical.
“His information network is quite well–informed,” he commented.
This made me frown slightly as I realized Alexander’s arrival had indeed been suspiciously quick. But I dismissed any thought of conspiracy, given Claire’s obvious murderous intent toward Alexander and the genuine risks he had faced protecting me.
