Chapter 130: The k********g Trap
Chapter 130: The k********g Trap
(Aria’s POV)
“You… you hit someone!” Sadie screamed in absolute terror, her voice trembling uncontrollably as she clutched the passenger seat.
I took a deep breath, forcing myself to stay calm despite my racing heart. My pregnant wolf whimpered anxiously within me, sensing immediate danger.
I immediately unbuckled my seatbelt with shaking hands, opened the car door, and stepped out onto the pavement. The acrid smell of burnt rubber filled my nostrils from where my tires had skidded across the
asphalt.
In front of my car, I saw a bicycle lying on its side, the front wheel still spinning slowly. A man wearing a blue windbreaker was sprawled motionless on the ground nearby.
My heart hammered against my ribs as I rushed forward to check on him, my wolf’s enhanced senses picking up his scent.
“Are you okay? Can you hear me?” I called out urgently, kneeling beside him.
The man slowly turned his head toward me, his face contorted with apparent pain. He clutched his knee dramatically, groaning loudly about his leg injury.
“My leg… I think it’s broken,” he moaned, rolling back and forth on the ground. “The pain is excruciating!” “Don’t move too much,” I said quickly, reaching for my mobile phone. “I’ll call for medical help right away.” Just as I pulled out my phone to dial emergency services, the supposedly injured man suddenly sprang up with lightning speed. His movements were fluid and coordinated, completely contradicting his earlier display
of agony.
Before I could react, he snatched my phone away with swift precision.
“What are you doing?!” I gasped in shock, my wolf bristling with alarm.
Realizing something was terribly wrong, I instinctively turned to run back toward the safety of my car. My pregnant wolf screamed warnings through every fiber of my being.
But before I could take more than a few desperate steps, the man’s strong hands grabbed my arm with
iron–like grip..
“Sadie!” I shouted toward the car, hoping she would help. “Call the territorial enforcers! Call for help!” Before I could finish my desperate plea, the man’s large hand covered my mouth completely. His palm pressed against my lips, muffling any further cries.
Despite my frantic struggles, his strength was completely overwhelming. My pregnant body felt weak against his trained muscles.
I looked desperately at Sadie through the car window, my eyes wide with terror and pleading. B he sat frozen in the passenger seat, trembling with pure fear.

Her face had gone completely pale, and she seerned paralyzed by the sudden violence unfolding before her.
When Sadie finally snapped out of her shock, she fumbled frantically for the door handle, trying to escape from the vehicle.
The kidnapper noticed her movement immediately. With swift, practiced efficiency, he struck her neck with a precise chop.
Sadie’s eyes rolled back, and she collapsed unconscious against the passenger seat, her body going completely limp.
“No!” I screamed against his hand, my voice muffled but desperate.
In my frantic struggle for freedom, I managed to sink my teeth deep into the man’s hand. I bit down as hard as my human teeth would allow, tasting the metallic flavor of his blood.
“Damn it!” he cursed loudly, momentarily releasing his grip to examine his bleeding hand.
I seized the opportunity and tried to run toward the busy street, hoping to attract attention from passing
vehicles.
“Help me! Someone help!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, my voice carrying across the intersection.
But before I could finish calling out for assistance, I felt a devastating blow to the back of my neck. The impact sent shocking waves of pain through my skull.
My vision immediately began to blur, and my knees buckled beneath me. As consciousness started to slip away, my last instinct was to protect my abdomen where my unborn pup was growing.
I collapsed heavily to the ground, my hands still cradling my belly protectively.
Darkness consumed me completely.
I awakened to the shocking sensation of cold water being splashed directly onto my face. The icy liquid streamed down my cheeks and soaked through my clothes.
The overwhelming, pungent smell of gasoline filled my nostrils, making my stomach churn with nausea. My neck felt incredibly stiff, as if someone had twisted it violently.
My head throbbed with excruciating pain that pulsed through my temples with each heartbeat.
I tried to move my arms and legs, but quickly discovered I was bound tightly with what felt like professional rope knots. The restraints wrapped around all my joints, making any movement completely impossible.
The terrifying reality crashed over me like a tidal wave–I had been kidnapped.
“Finally awake, are we?” a familiar yet sinister voice asked from somewhere above me.
When someone lifted my chin roughly, forcing me to look up, I found myself staring into a face I recognized. It was beautiful but completely twisted with pure hatred.
Claire Watson stood over me, her emerald eyes blazing with malicious satisfaction.
“Didn’t expect this delightful surprise, did you?” Claire smiled viciously, her perfect features contorted with
rage. “Aria Summers, you finally got exactly what you deserved!”
Without warning, she pressed her sharp high heel directly into my ankle. The pointed tip dug through my skin, causing excruciating pain that brought immediate tears to my eyes.

“You caused me to lose everything!” she hissed, grabbing my hair and yanking my head back forcefully. “My reputation, my endorsement contracts, my future with Alexander–all destroyed because of your pathetic
schemes!”
Claire’s perfectly manicured fingers traced my face with her sharp nails, leaving thin scratches across my cheek.
“Do you know what I discovered, you scheming little she–wolf?” Her voice dropped to a deadly whisper. “I know all about that prenatal paternity test you orchestrated. You think you’re so clever, don’t you?”
Her nails dug deeper into my skin as her rage intensified.
“Well, let me tell you something, Aria Summers. I want your miserable life to end right here, right now!”
Claire’s hands moved to my throat, her fingers wrapping around my neck with increasing pressure.
“You forced me into this desperate situation!” she screamed, her composure completely shattered. “I worked
so hard to build my perfect life, and you destroyed everything!”
Her grip tightened mercilessly around my windpipe. Her sharp nails dug deep into the sensitive skin of my neck, drawing blood.
As she began choking me with both hands, I gasped frantically for air. My vision started to blur from the lack of oxygen flowing to my brain.
I thought of my unborn pup nestled safely in my womb, and of Dominic’s gentle smile when he had confessed his feelings. Would this really be how our story ended?
Suddenly, a thunderous crash echoed through what appeared to be an abandoned factory. The massive rolling door shook violently on its tracks from some tremendous impact.
Claire immediately released her deadly grip, startled by the unexpected interruption. I collapsed against my restraints, coughing violently as precious air rushed back into my lungs.
Hot tears streamed down my face as I struggled to breathe normally again. Through my blurred vision, I heard Claire’s shocked voice ring out across the cavernous space.
“Alexander?! It’s actually you!” she gasped in complete disbelief.
I was equally surprised and uncertain whether Alexander had come to rescue me or if he was somehow working together with Claire in this k********g plot.
“Claire Watson, you’ve truly lost your mind!” Alexander’s voice was dark and stern as he stepped into the dim factory lighting.
His amber eyes glared directly at Claire with unconcealed fury. His Alpha pheromones spiked dangerously, filling the air with protective rage.
“Let her go immediately!”
Claire threw back her head and laughed hysterically, the sound echoing off the concrete walls around us. “Lost my mind?” she cackled maniacally. “Yes, Alexander, I have indeed gone completely mad! And it’s all because of what you and this pathetic she–wolf did to me!”
When Alexander took a step forward, Claire suddenly grabbed my hair again and pressed a cold silver dagger against the vulnerable skin of my neck.

The blade’s sharp edge drew a thin line of blood where it touched.
“Don’t take another step forward, or I’ll slit her throat right here!” Claire threatened with deadly seriousness.
Alexander immediately froze in place, his powerful frame tense with barely controlled aggression.
“Don’t hurt her, Claire,” he said urgently, his voice tight with concern. “Whatever grievances you have, they’re with me, not with Aria.”
Claire’s lips curved into a cold, calculating smile that sent chills down my spine.
She gestured to someone lurking in the shadows nearby, someone I couldn’t see clearly from my position on
the floor.
“Tie him up as well,” she commanded with chilling authority.
