Chapter 104
Winton sensed something odd and immediately snapped angrily, “Sebastian, are you there? Get out here, or I’m dropping the medical robot projects
Sebastian sighed helplessly and stood up. Abigail started to rise too, but he pressed her shoulder to keep her seated.
Stepping behind Abigail’s chair, Sebastian leaned down and said, “Mr. Brown, what do you think of her? If I’m busy in the future, is there any problem with you handing it off to her?”
Winton glanced at the obedient Abigail and said, “She’s with strong capabilities and bold ideas. What’s your plan?”
“What plan?” Sebastian tilted his head slightly, looking at Abigail beside him.
Sitting in the chair, Abigail felt the warmth emanating from Sebastian. Though there was still some distance between them, his heat seemed to continuously intertwine with her senses.
Sebastian’s tone was laced with teasing. “How far did you and Mr. Brown get? Did you discuss our marriage plans?”
Abigail quickly stood up and spun around to explain, only to find how close they were. He was so tall that she had to look up at him.
Sebastian wore a lazy smile, his eyes calm and composed as if he hadn’t taken Winton’s words seriously at all.
Abigail gradually calmed down, adjusted her mindset, and replied lightly, “Mr. Brown just misunderstood our relationship. We’ve covered all the necessary topics.”
“What do you think?” Sebastian’s gaze fell on the computer screen.
Winton studied them, then smiled meaningfully. “Yes, we’ve concluded the first phase. When you arrive in Blairwind, bring her along. I want to talk to her myself.”
Abigail blinked–she thought she’d been thorough enough.
“Alright.” Sebastian hung up the video call and turned to look at Abigail, who was still standing there. “You’ve landed a huge project. You contributed to a data–sharing project of this scale without consulting me?”
Abigail bit her lip, embarrassed. “I thought only we were capable of building this database, so I assumed you’d agree.”
“Well, you and I will be traveling together frequently from now on, Sebastian said, straightening up with a meaningful gaze.
“Why?” Abigail asked frankly.
“We need to visit major hospitals, convince them to persuade their affiliate hospitals, and achieve information sharing. This project rests on just the two of us,” Sebastian said, walking out of the conference room.
Abigail worried she’d messed up. She swallowed and followed him, saying apologetically, “I only thought we were the only ones who could complete this project.
“The larger the database, the better the chips needed, and currently, Celestial Group has the best chips. Since you’re collaborating with them, I thought…” Her voice trailed off.
James, overhearing, smiled. “If he’s not angry, he must approve. This project is massive, though–so you’ll negotiate with hospitals while he supports you.”
“Mr. Robinson, I’ll work hard,” Abigail said firmly, lowering her head.
Sebastian glanced at her. She clearly loved this work, or she wouldn’t have agreed so quickly.
“Traveling with Mr. Robinson for negotiations will help you develop your skills, just like Timothy at Halden Group, who can handle projects

Independently,” Warren explained gently.
Abigail didn’t resist Sebastian’s decision, but she was grateful for Warren’s explanation. “Thank you, Mr. Judson
“Come on, you still call him that? Didn’t you say he’s like a brother to you?” James approached Abigail, looking serious.
After some hesitation, Abigail murmured, “He really is.”
Warren matched her earliest fantasies of an older brother. Stephen and Christian had shattered her expectations, making her think siblings who didnt s grow up together couldn’t bond—but Warren proved her wrong.
James laughed. “Yet you still call him Mr. Judson. Don’t be fooled by his constant smile–he’ll be heartbroken.”
Abigail glanced at Sebastian, and when he showed no objection, she looked back at Warren. “I know my humble background. I’m grateful to you all, but don’t want to cling to your relationship without reason.”
