Chapter 103
On the private plane to Blairwind, James and Warren were also on board. Abigail didn’t quite understand why they were there.
Sebastian emerged from the lounge and nodded at Abigail. “Come meet a client.” Abigail nodded and hurried over.
The two entered the conference room in the middle of the plane. Sebastian turned on the computer and asked her to sit in the main seat while he sat on
the other side.
“You’ll talk to Mr. Brown about the advantages of medical robots later,” Sebastian said, leaning back in his chair, relaxed, and speaking in his usual casual
tone.
Abigail said in a daze, “Me? I haven’t prepared anything.”
“Then improvise,” Sebastian said before closing his eyes. Abigail thought he must not have slept well last night.
When the video call connected, Abigail saw a white–haired, irascible old man on the other side and immediately sat up straight to greet him. “Hello, Mr. Brown. Mr. Robinson asked me to discuss the medical robot with you.”
“Where is that brat?” Winton Brown shouted at once, as the camera couldn’t capture Sebastian sleeping beside her.
Noticing the old man’s irritability, Abigail quickly explained, “He’s temporarily busy. Winton, I can also talk to you about the robot.”
Sebastian, leaning aside, smiled. Winton frowned and sized her up. “Can you understand what I’m saying?”
“Feel free to ask questions,” Abigail replied calmly.
“I’ve read the materials that kid sent me. Brilliant ideas, but if you want to prioritize cooperation with my hospital, you must first tell me the advantages,”
Winton said seriously, constantly sizing up Abigail with his cloudy eyes.
Abigail pursed her lips and said, “We can help you with data sharing. The company will provide a huge database that links all networked hospitals. Past patient diagnosis results will enter this database, providing your hospital with a more convenient access solution.”
Winton laughed, “You dare to think big, young lady. Do you know how huge a project it is to link data from all networked hospitals?”
Abigail looked at him earnestly. “Medical development up to now hasn’t been a small project either. Precisely because life continues, this project won’t
be short–term.”
Sebastian crossed his arms and squinted at her. Whenever Abigail talked about work, she focused so intently that she didn’t notice how others around
her were sizing her up.
Just then, Sebastian’s phone vibrated. He picked it up and saw a message from James, then unconsciously turned his head. The two men sitting outside the conference room–one grinning slyly, the other smiling with narrowed eyes.
He got up, walked out of the conference room, and tapped James on the head, whispering, “Why are you smiling so sleazily? What’s she saying to Winton that’s got you so intrigued?”
“Your eyes are glued to her. What’s she talking about with Winton that’s so fascinating?” James asked, rubbing his head with a gossipy smile.
Warren smiled and said, “But Abby knows he has so many girlfriends. She definitely won’t be with him.”
“Shut up,” Sebastian said in a low voice. “She’s negotiating a big project for me.”
James asked curiously, “Wasn’t your cooperation with Mr. Brown already a sure thing?”
Sebastian smiled but said nothing.
“What if Abby doesn’t want to be your girlfriend? What will you do?” Warren repeated.

Chapter 103
Sebastian said coolly, “How do you know she won’t?”
“Who would want to be with a playboy?” James chimed in at once, leaning close to Sebastian and whispering even more softly, She might not even believe your explanations, man. You have no chance.”
“I didn’t say I like her,” Sebastian said lightly, while James and Warren scoffed. Ignoring them, Sebastian got up and returned to the conference room.
Abigail was still talking to Winton about the prospects of robots.
“Robots definitely won’t be as meticulous as humans; they can’t replace people. But if they’re fully functional, they will solve the problem of elderly car for single people. They can call the police when elderly people living alone have an accident,” Abigail told Winton.
Winton kept a straight face. “You want to stay single? Sebastian letting a young woman like you participate in this project must mean he plans to marry you. What, you look down on him?”
Abigail found it hard to catch up with Winton’s leaping thoughts. She thought, ‘Aren’t we talking about work? How did we get to whether I’ll marry Sebastian?‘
She looked at Sebastian awkwardly and found he hadn’t yet wiped the smile from his lips, leaving her momentarily stunned.
